Gone but not forgotten My current PfP is not mine, it belonged to someone I greatly respected and cared for. Someone who was a pillar of our community, a bonafide patron of the arts and impact investor. Someone I considered more than just a good friend. Someone who was a brother to me, a kindred spirit and a genuinely great human being. Someone who was taken from us way too young, battling a disease that had already taken way too many. I'm happy we got to connect, build together and vibe together. It felt like finding a long lost brother and I am grateful for the time we had. You can call me crazy. But I see a lot of what @RealRossU said today in @OrdinalMaxiBiz ‘s art. I am obsessed because what I feel there is bigger. Flipping coins, ordinals, alkanes, loudios and whatever doesn’t excite me. Feels like empty greed. There’s a bigger picture, and it’s meaning. I am thankful that Ross brought meaning to the “corporate show”. I am hopeful that art can bring meaning to the CT emptiness.

Got a message asking me why I am overexposed to @OrdinalMaxiBiz and decided to share my answer. Here it goes: Hi XXX…..there’s basically several reasons. I am not a trader. But to me this is my collector’s perspective. And to be clear I buy what I really like. Reasons: - I was early. I resonated with @ohareyoufat ’s history, messaging and art since the first tweet. Resonates with me and my personal taste/story etc… so being early I could mint green eyes, orange eyes and black eyes. I held them all until now and I bought a som more. Cheaper than for many, and an opportunity for me to be a big holder in something I really love. - Bitcoin and ordinals - for a long time I love Bitcoin. Ordinals to me is a breakthrough for storing art, documents and many things that can be a byproduct of this protocol (DeFi for example). I think the idea of Bitcoin being more and more accepted/adopted and dominant, gives a great future to anything bitcoin. I don’t know the time it will take, but this is money I don’t need for my day to daily life. So it’s a bet on this. - Art and uniqueness - To me OMB is an almost unique concept. Nothing is similar but ZMB in Sol. So the fact that in the early days of ordinals, one artist made 9k hand drawn pieces is totally slept on. Add the messaging in the art, and to me it should be one of the top pfp collectibles in any chain given enough time. Again, this is a bet on ordinals, which to me, if they grow as I expect, should make the top collections something really special. - Inscription dates/sats used for inscribing etc…I think that aside from the art, zK delivered a really amazing lesson on how to use sats as a canvas. What I mean is that OMB was the first pfp on Block78 sats (blue eyes), first pfp on Block 9 sats (green eyes)…and the inscription dates of orange eyes (superbowl) and black (Trump inaguration/Ross release). To me that makes it even more special, as each step was done with and purpose, not simply inscribed randomly. -Until this point, OMB is good enough from my view to become an historical collection only by what’s onchain (art,sats,dates…), but then there’s the zK factor which can be a cherry on top. Whether @ZK_shark does anything (insert speculation) or disappears, the collection is a masterpiece as is. Because remember, founders will be irrelevant at some point, but art on-chain is forever.
