OSINT tip of the day 🔍📱 Ever landed on a Facebook profile that looks completely empty… no posts, no photos, nothing? You think, “well, that's nothing to find,” right? 😅 Wrong. Sometimes the quietest profiles talk the loudest 👀. A lot of people forget that Facebook Marketplace reveals plenty, and all you need is their User ID. Just go to: facebook.com/marketplace/pr… If they’ve sold anything, listed items, or interacted on Marketplace, you’ll often find clues about their activity, habits, or even location 🧩🛒. It’s one of those hidden corners of Facebook that most people never check, but it can be surprisingly helpful during OSINT investigations. facebook.com/marketplace/pr… __________ P.S. ♻️ Repost if you found this helpful. If you liked this post and would like to learn more methods and techniques to discover information about people, check out my OSINT Mastery course cybersudo.org/osint-mastery

Filmot I already did a tweet about YouTube's subtitle search engine a few years ago, but since then it's very much expanded its functionality and increased its search index: 1.33 billion transcripts 1.18 billion videos 72 million channels filmot.com #socmint

🔍 Investigating Faces in OSINT: #OSINT Tools Facial recognition and comparison tools are invaluable in OSINT investigations for identifying individuals, verifying identities, and analysing visual data. Here’s a breakdown of powerful tools available for facial recognition and comparison, as well as an honourable mention for face mockup creation. 😊 How Do Facial Recognition Tools Work? Facial recognition tools create a unique "face fingerprint" by analysing features like eye spacing and jawline. Machine learning helps them adapt to variations like lighting or hairstyles. The fingerprint is then matched against a database, quickly returning results with source links and details. This OSINT tip was created by @AccessOSINT, follow him to learn more about OSINT. ❗ Join the UK OSINT Community for free to access events, exclusive content, and OSINT resources: osint.uk/join 🌐 Facial Recognition Tools ✨ PimEyes (@PimEyesOfficial) With over a billion indexed images, PimEyes allows free searches but requires payment to view results. It focuses on websites outside mainstream social media platforms, making it useful for broader web investigations. 🔗 pimeyes.comFaceCheck.id (@FaceCheck_ID) This platform indexes 977 million images, including some coverage of social media. Like PimEyes, it offers free searches with paid access to results, expanding your investigative reach. 🔗 FaceCheck.id ✨ Clearview AI (Police Only) Designed exclusively for law enforcement, Clearview boasts over 20 billion indexed images. It’s a powerful tool requiring government budgets, offering unmatched search capabilities for authorised users. 🔗 clearview.ai ✨ Search4Faces A Russian-based platform indexing 1.1 billion images, with excellent coverage of VK and some TikTok content. It’s free to use, but exercise caution due to its origin and data policies. 🔗 search4faces.com ✨ Faceagle A smaller-scale tool with 4.1 million indexed images, offering free facial recognition searches. Ideal for niche or less extensive investigations. 🔗 faceagle.com 🖥️ Facial Comparison Tools ✨ Face Detection and Comparison A robust application for comparing two faces to determine similarity. It’s particularly useful for analysing appearance changes, such as ageing, tattoos, or facial hair. 🔗 6mzld2.csb.app ✨ Face++ This versatile tool can detect faces within images, compare faces, and perform facial searches, making it a comprehensive option for investigators. 🔗 faceplusplus.com ✨ Betaface API Allows you to compare a face against multiple others across several photos and provides detailed characteristics of the individuals in the images. 🔗 betafaceapi.com/demo.html 🎨 Honourable Mention ✨ FaceMaker (@uni_stuttgart) A unique tool for creating accurate and usable facial mockups from descriptions, similar to police sketch tools. It’s particularly helpful for generating visuals for missing person cases or suspect descriptions. 🔗 facemaker.uvrg.org 🔜 Follow for more #OSINT tips and tools in future posts!

🔍 Investigating Usernames: #OSINT Tips Username searching is a fundamental OSINT technique for mapping an individual’s digital footprint across various platforms. By leveraging specialised tools, investigators can efficiently identify where a username is active and gather valuable OSINT. ❓ How They Work These tools operate by utilising the unique URL structures of different websites. By inputting a username, the tools send requests to each platform’s profile URL to check for the existence of an active page. If the profile exists, it confirms the presence; otherwise, it flags an error. Advanced tools like Social Analyzer further analyse metadata, visualise connections, and provide detailed summaries for a more in-depth understanding. 🌐 Web Applications ✨ What's My Name Created by @WebBreacher and hosted by @osintcombine, What's My Name scans over 668 websites directly from your browser. It allows you to quickly identify active profiles without any installations. 🔗 whatsmyname.app ✨ OSINT Rocks This platform integrates CLI tools like Sherlock and Maigret into a user-friendly web interface. Ideal for users who prefer a web-based approach while leveraging robust backend capabilities. 🔗 osint.rocks@AnalyzeID AnalyzeID searches across 80 social sites, providing a summary of the username’s online presence. It helps you gather detailed information about the individual behind the profile with ease. 🔗 analyzeid.com/username/ 🖥️ CLI Tools 💻 Sherlock Developed by @sidheart, Sherlock is an open-source tool that searches for a username across 400+ platforms, offering extensive customisation for advanced investigations. 🔗 github.com/sherlock-proje… 💻 Maigret Created by @Sox0j, Maigret expands search capabilities to over 3000 sites, delivering more comprehensive and in-depth results compared to its predecessors. 🔗 github.com/soxoj/maigret/ (fork of Sherlock) 💻 WhatsMyName CLI Also by @WebBreacher, this command-line version of What's My Name facilitates robust, site-wide searches across 669 platforms, ideal for those who prefer terminal-based operations. 🔗 github.com/WebBreacher/Wh… 💻 Social Analyzer Developed by @qeeqbox, Social Analyzer offers advanced features such as metadata extraction, multi-profile correlation, and customizable search options, making it a powerful tool for thorough investigations. 🔗 github.com/qeeqbox/social…
