@ginnersinner @EveleenWinters I'd called my paramedic friend in desperation to see if he could come and help but he said to call the police. The elderly woman seemed to be failing. Turned out she'd broken her hip. Never came back out of hospital. What else could I have done? I'd do it again.

@ginnersinner @EveleenWinters *despatcher. I should also add that we were in the road, it was 11pm and FREEZING - snowing. For those telling me the police aren't a medical service. I didn't expect them to be but they hastened the ambulance..

My mother is still waiting for an ambulance. Its been almost 13 hours. Wales. She is bleeding profusely from her urethra & losing clots. A medical emergency. I've been advised to place more pads over the bleeding. She is soaked through with urine and blood.
Where's her dignity?
