@BradfemlyWalsh GRC is irrelevant. Men with a GRC have the same rights as those without in respect of singke-sex spaces.

🧵Bad faith actors are distorting the truth about transwomen in women's loos. In the UK, transwomen have never had the right to use these spaces. The tiny minority with a Gender Recognition Certificate (fewer than 500 people) could use them but only at the venue's discretion. 1/7

@daisypops63 On and off for a couple of months, but he's only just moved in full time. To complicate matters, he's going out with his landlord's daughter 🙄

I have a dilemma. I live in a flat which is really well soundproofed. I've never heard my neighbours. Until now. A new guy has moved in upstairs and every footstep is like a mallet being bashed on my ceiling. All day. I can feel my BP rising. Should I speak to him or suck it up?

I REALLY need to take the temperature of people. Hypothetical: You’re at a conference. Magazines are on a table as free literature. Angry woman comes along, takes a whole stack. She’s told not to. She throws them away. Man in response slaps her across the face. Is that ok?

@DuncanBannatyne Well he's right about a couple of things. Trans demands are indeed everyone's problem. And of transwomen don't get thrown out of women's loos it's only because the real women would be reluctant to draw their ire in a vulnerable situation.

@HagwithAttitude @fromthenorth66 Well, I've had a reprieve. He's not in. He's obviously not as I can't hear him 😂. Sadly I can't bump into him as my flat has its own entrance. I guess I just have to stop being such a wuss and get on with it. Thanks for the support 🙂

@Doris_Miliband @NotTheTisWasOne This was one of the problems I had.. The new couple had taken up the carpets.. Even though it was in both leases I still lost and had to move.

@NotTheTisWasOne Sadly I had the same problem. Lived in lovely flat in Clapham never heard my upstairs neighbour for 9 years and then a couple moved in and the noise was off the scale. I put up with it for 2 years but nothing worked, I moved out as they started throwing things onto my balcony

@JJMMHH80 Thanks! Yes, I do wonder if I'm being unreasonable but I've never heard anyone else and this is really bad.

@NotTheTisWasOne I have two thoughts on this as someone experiencing same 1. If you want no noise from above, don't live in a place with upstairs neighbours 2. If its during the day, not much to say 3. If he lives with +1, invite them down to hear it themselves. Goodluck!

@NotTheTisWasOne You buy a pair of the slippers I invented which have squishy air heel and a value that lets out the pressure from the stomp with a psssaaattt- like a soft fart. You bring these and the cookies and hope for the best.
