Aujourd’hui, le président de la FEO, Chris Cowley, s’est joint à @ChandraPasma, à des parents ainsi qu’à des défenseuses et des défenseurs de l’éducation afin de transmettre un message clair au ministre Calandra : le projet de loi 101 va dans la mauvaise direction pour notre système d’éducation et pour nos élèves. Le ministre a été invité à écouter celles et ceux qui connaissent le mieux nos salles de classe.

Today, OTF President Chris Cowley joined @ChandraPasma, parents, and education advocates to send a clear message to Minister Calandra that Bill 101 is the wrong direction for our education system and our students. The Minister was called on to listen to those that know our classrooms best.

This coordinated effort represents a powerful show of unity among Ontario’s teachers and education workers at a time when publicly funded education continues to face significant challenges. Teachers and education workers will come together to visually signal their support and demand for investments in publicly funded education. Across Ontario, union members will wear red and purple as part of the Red for Ed and Power of Purple movements. Le président de la FEO, Chris Cowley, se tient aux côtés des présidentes et desprésidents des filialesainsi que du président du CSCSO pour s’opposer à la plus récente annonce du gouvernement visant à restreindre le rôle des conseillères et des conseillers scolaires et à imposer des ressources pédagogiques aux enseignantes et aux enseignants.
