To complement this, the FG is fighting seriously for Local Government autonomy, we see the impacts of this in Lagos State. We see how local government chairmen and LCDAs are building infrastructures such as schools, hospitals, roads and other things.
An average Lagosian knows his or her local government chairmen or chairwomen. How many states can boast of this? If other states can release local government funds or allow local government to be completely independent, there’s no way or how the common man will not feel the impact of the policies in place.

The common man used to be owed salaries and pensions for upwards of 6 months. That is no more happening because of increased allocations to states. 2. There are no more petrol queues. 3. Students' loans and pocket money 4. More states are building more infrastructure for the present & future use of the common man. These are just 4 of the many society wide benefits that removal of the petrol subsidy has engendered.

Unrelated, but this just reminded me of something. Back in LAUTECH, one guy took about four of his friends to Brazil for the 2014 World Cup. Fast forward to 2015 when I was about finishing my program, I overheard him complaining in front of my hostel to someone. those same friends had gone to Dubai without him because he was broke.
Seeing this picture just brought it all back, and honestly, if you make money, whether legit or not and spend it recklessly, you’re really on your own.

Senate President, Godswill Akpabio GCON attended the commissioning yesterday and he travelled from Abeokuta to Sagamu interchange. He couldn’t believe the level of industrialization going on there. @Letter_to_Jack Honestly, in his first term as governor i criticised Dapo a lot but ib this his second term, he has out performed himself and put himself as the best thing that has happened to the state. Anytime I'm traveling from Lagos to Ibadan, i can't stoo looking at industries along that.
