It’s a remarkable coincidence that the Earth was exactly the same orientation to the moon with exactly the same cloud coverage when these two pictures were taken 68 years apart. Am I now a coincidence theorist ?

It could also be that the AI engine is confused by the text and now possibly even being trained. Best would have been to get a source link to the right hand image

I’m still not clear why the US doesn’t just escort ships through the street as well as use A10/AC130 to enforce a no go zone along the Iranian coastline in the chokepoint of the straits and just force it open. I get the issue of the mirror threat of attack keeping ships out since they are slow moving and undefended but we could fix that very easily. There has to be some aspect not being discussed such as putting pressure on the nations who depend on goods coming through the straight, which is predominantly not USA.

Many people are under the mistaken belief that Iran owns the Strait of Hormuz. They do not. It is international waters and they have absolutely no right to blockade it or demand a transit fee.

Donald Trump has been a national politician for a decade. Anyone still reacting to the guy’s negotiating tactics and hyperbole with this sort of hysteria ten years in should be disqualified from political commentary. If he nukes Tehran at 8pm, I’ll admit I’m the crazy one. When he doesn’t, this crew will admit nothing and find some other comment to be scandalized by.

@OliverNeilson @SandyofSuffolk OK but my husband has just retired at age 68. He had a manual job for 53yrs. So have many others his age. Retiring at 66 with a State Pension and a bus pass sounds like a normal world to me. You’re welcome 🤷‍♀️

In all my 46 years of working, I never once heard anyone complain about old people getting a state pension. We just knew the older generation deserved looking after when they couldn't look after themselves after all their years of hard work.
