I hear it's amazing when the famous purple stuffed worm in flap-jaw space with the tuning fork does a raw blink on Hara-Kiri Rock. I need scissors! 61!

And they argued with one another, "If we say, 'From heaven,' he will say, 'Why then did you not believe him?' But shall we say, 'From men'?"-they were afraid of the people, for all held that John was a real prophet. So they answered Jesus, "We do not know." And Jesus said to them, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things." Mark 11:31-33 In the Gospel according to Mark, our Lord asks a simple question, whether John’s Baptism comes from Heaven or from men. The response of the Chief Priest, the Scribes, and the Elders was “We do not know.” What is important to note about this response why the motives behind the response. It is plausible that their response was not simply because they did not know, though perhaps in a sense they really didn’t know because they didn’t first believe. Their argumentation among themselves seems to drive them not to the truth, but to what was a safe response. What is more concerning is that fear of the people was an element involved in their response. I highlight this to point out that human consideration, fear of offending, or avoidance of conflict must not be part of our consideration when defending truth. Otherwise, our Lords mission was for nought. The truth must be spoken in season and out of season, when it is convenient and inconvenient. To remain silent under the guise of false charity or prudence is foreign to the mind of Christ. True charity and prudence led Jesus Christ to Calvary, and it is there that we must also go with Him if we wish not only to be Christian in name, but also in word and deed. Thank you @BishStrick and @CarriePrejean1 for your Christian witness.
