@14Menengai @onjolo_kenya Wow! I didn't know this. I have been a lifelong fan of Abaluhya FC and later AFC Leopards Ingwe and Shoto was first.
English

@OpEdConverstns @onjolo_kenya do you know legendary John Shoto Lukoye who played for AFC was his son?
English

Watched an Alex Mwakideu interview the other day he was talking to the legendary judge from Vioja Mahakamani. Millennials, you know her ~That no-nonsense mama who took zero nonsense in that courtroom.
Now here’s the wild part they never had scripts. Not a single one. They’d just show up, pick roles, agree on the case, and go. Cameras rolling, take one, done.
So every punchline Alphonse Makacha and Dot Makokha ever dropped? Pure improvisation. No rehearsal. Nothing prepared. Just talent doing its thing in real time.
Kenya really had something special with that crew.
And here’s the part that gets me AG Amos Wako was fully behind the show. He’d supply them with real court cases and actual judgments from Kenyan courts. So when the judge passed her verdict on screen, it wasn’t made up. It was legally accurate, straight from the constitution.
Comedy on the surface. Civic education underneath.
That’s a level of craft most productions today can’t touch.
Golden era. Salute to those legends. 🫡

@14Menengai @onjolo_kenya Tamaa bin Tamaa was legendary. He was my favorite too.
English

@onjolo_kenya Mzee Tamaa was my neiba growing up. Jericho Lumunba. Mzee Ojwang lived in neighboring Mbotela. Others such as Karatasi and Rosemary Kairo also lived in those estates along jogoo road.
There was Wariahe too. That show was legendary
English

@MwangoCapital Basically, the president awarded himself this contract. Damn!!!
English

In the Nation today:
— Pesa Print Ltd, the company set to win a KES 45 billion National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) contract to roll out chip-embedded driving licences, is backed by individuals with strong political ties to President William Ruto.
— Among its shareholders are Faryd Abdulrazak Sheikh, Charles Tela Alusala, and Jabir Abdul Nassir, with Alusala serving as a contact person for several Ruto family businesses and holding 100,000 shares (10.83%) in Amaco Insurance.
— Through Yegen Farms Ltd, the First Lady Rachel Ruto and Charlene Ruto own 190k shares (15.83%) in Amaco, while Alusala also represents Koilel Farm Ltd and Urban Groove Apartments Ltd, tied to Nick Ruto and the First Lady.
— The contract was approved just weeks after submission of a feasibility study, despite public concern that the recently passed Conflict of Interest Act, a key IMF reform condition, was significantly weakened.

English

Well that's not courteous Mr. President.
If President Donald Trump sent you an invitation to be his guest it's because he has identified your ingenuity in good governance.
He presides over the most powerful nation of the world and has thought it expedient to align with you but you blew it by turning it down 😔
English

Botswana’s President, Duma Gideon Boko, has declined an invitation from United States President Trump to visit the White House.
According to the words of Botswana President Boko:
“If there is any business or official engagement to discuss, it should take place in Botswana, not abroad.
Botswana is tired of traveling abroad for deals that concern its own resources.
If there is genuine interest in our resources, come to Botswana so we can talk business.
Let us respect the basic principle of commerce: buyers should go to the sellers. If the situation is reversed, then the buyer’s interest is not truly valuable.”

English

@ledamalekina Do you stop thinking and/or reasoning when you join government? What a loser?
English

@MutemiWaKiama And to think that some useless fellas like the speaker, Grand Mulla, and a host of many others have been favoured to get it. Very useless. The SC thing has become as useless as the state awards.
English

They only think they won't confer to Daktari Khaminwa is "Senior Counsel" status 🤣
Well, #WeThePeopleKE have conferred to him the status of "The Peoples' Senior Counsel". 👊🏾✊🏾

English

@LarryMadowo Bro, kwani hujui mapema ndio best? 🤭🤭🤣🤣🤣

@m_ogada @itskipronoh The minister of agriculture is the current president, have you forgotten the old man in Eldoret talking about how "walighula."
Let's clean all, drain all swamps by not pretending and selective amnesia
English

@itskipronoh True!! Worst of all under kibaki was the 2009 maize scandal that created billionaires while leaving millions of Kenyans hungry. Do you know who was minister for agriculture at the time, ama niache kukusumbua na maswali?
English

Mwai Kibaki was the worst president Kenya has ever had. No one can convince me otherwise.
During Kibaki’s regime, we witnessed many scandals in Kenya. Mt. Kenya mafias looted this country dry; it’s just that they invested so much in PR.
Scandals during the Kibaki regime included the Anglo Leasing scandal, Goldenberg scandal and The Grand Regency Scandal.
It was Kibaki who brought drug traffickers such as Artur Margaryan and Artur Sargsyan. Kenya became the headquarters of cocaine during Kibaki’s regime.
Kibaki stole the elections in 2007, which led to 1,500 people killed in the post-election violence and thousands displaced from their homes.
Lest we forget, Kibaki was sworn in at night after rigging the elections.

English

@itskipronoh And you are leaving out the part where known murderers ordered for people to burnt in a church?

It would be nice to get your opinion too on the idea being championed by Bill Gates that methane from cows is aiding in global warming and that they should be vaccinated to deal with their farting.
Yoweri K Museveni@KagutaMuseveni
This morning, I spent some time with the cows (Okusetura) in Rwakyitura, accompanied by some of our family members who are immersing themselves in the world of herding. We had an enlightening discussion about paddocking techniques, rotational grazing, and the best practices for nurturing vibrant, healthy livestock.
