@lord_proto I know. But it doesn’t discriminate against them either. The reality is if they want equity, they aren’t getting it at better terms than now.

@OriginalJakeW The ACE round is opened for 1 month only so it's not like if it was designed as a way for VCs to get equity while pumping $PUMPCADE price.

Is nobody going to talk about how VC’s who want equity will have to buy the token now to get it?

I’ve been thinking about this more and if everything goes right, it seems inevitable. If a market can be created for anything with an API, Pumpcade really does become the speculation layer for the internet. It simply becomes a part of everyday life on the internet. A LOT has to go right, and it’s not going to happen anytime soon, but just the idea that at some point in the future, speculating on anything is as common and accepted as likes and reactions is a wild thought. @Bad_Kid_89 Disagree to some extent. Some startups might live completely off their token and that’s fine. This is the first instance of this happening so we’ll probably see some stumbles ahead as more companies try it. But do agree it’s a move in the right direction.

@OriginalJakeW We all should agree in only buying tokens which give us the opportunity to exchange these for equity in the future. A lot would be changing for retail for the better.

@nik0x78 True, but it’s likely there is a bit of herd mentality in that circle so knowing who already invested has probably piqued a lot of interest by others about what they know.

@archtuxfan Correct. Have to wait for the next raise after that. Which will probably be at a much higher valuation.

Lost in the pumpcade discussion the last few weeks with everything going on is the fact that the app itself is gonna hit like the CIA dropping a bunch of mysterious boxes labeled “crack” in every ghetto in the 80s.

It’s pretty obvious that prediction markets are going to go bananas over the next decade. So why aren’t you investing in the biggest green field of that market, fast and instant resolution. $pumpcade has distribution and network channels solved with who’s backing them. All they have to do now is execute and it’s really off to the races. Don’t fumble it.
