It's naive to think you can completely block insider trading on prediction markets. It's really just too easy to do. On... Mention/# of posts in timeframe markets: Subject can just tell someone what they're going to say or how many times they'll post. TGE Markets: There are so many CEXs involved for listing processes. Information bleed is very likely. Mainnet Launch Markets: There are so many service providers involved (RPCs, DeFi partner integrations). Information bleed is very likely. The list goes on and on... What you CAN do though, is try and limit the types of markets where insider trading is very easily possible for only a small number of individuals. @pumpcade is doing this. We have no mention markets, we have no listing markets, we have no launch markets. These markets are very easily manipulated by a few parties. If a market can only be manipulated by SOME people, we won't support it. If a market can be manipulated by EVERYONE, we see it as a feature, not a bug. For example, Pumpcade supports up/down markets on every Pump Fun token. This means markets on tokens as low as $3,000 market cap. ANYONE can easily move the market cap up or down. CLOBs are not designed for fast paced markets. They are meant for long term price discovery. Our Parimutuel Protocol is designed explicitly for fast paced markets with any number of participants. The work in small groupchats, large livestreams, or sitting on our platform, and everything in between. They can work like a bet between friends, all the way up to thousands of people speculating on whether something will happen. The Pumpcade Resolution Engine is built to resolve provable outcomes. Anything with a trusted and verifiable data source can be proven on Pumpcade. No AI resolutions. No committees. So far we have had 26 million (2.64%) pumpcade converted to ACE. The amount of interest from all kinds of people around this raise has been unreal. Crypto has been needing something innovative to make tokens more interesting, and I think this is it. I really appreciate all the support I’m receiving from everyone, especially the holders who are joining me on the cap table. Doing something new and innovative is scary at first, but these are the things that push the industry forward, and I’m very proud to be one of the first to do it. I think there’s a misconception that if the ACE round doesn’t fully fill, all the tokens contributed will be sent back to contributors. That’s not the case. ACE works on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning once you convert your tokens into SAFEs, you receive them immediately. The tokens I receive are also locked for one year, reducing the supply in the open market with every contribution. Another frequent question I have received is: What happens to the token after ACE round is over? The token trades the same way it always has and remains the core focus. ACE is simply a bridge that allows people to convert their tokens into SAFEs in the company. The team’s main focus is scaling the product and putting Pumpcade in front of the masses.
