Melanomas can vary greatly in how they look. Many show all of the ABCDE features. However, some sub-types of melanoma may have only one or two of the ABCDE features or even none at all.

Today we remember our dear colleague, Shyam Somasundaram, who died suddenly one year today. His loss is still felt acutely by many, professionally and personally. We took a few moments this morning as a lab to share our memories of this incredible scientist and man.
