I’m absolutely delighted to have joined the Strategy Team this week at @greatermcr as Head of Policy and Implementation this week. Joining the dots and making stuff happen, with a focus on galvanising the system around the four mayoral missions: Bee Network, Live Well, MBACC and Housing First. Together we are laying the foundations for good lives for all. With tackling inequalities, environmental sustainability, community health, wealth and power, running through the core. Grateful to @AndyBurnhamGM and @GMCA_CEO for the vote of confidence. Two brilliant leaders and people to call boss! Loving meeting my new team and gathering views on what will make the boat move faster. Can’t think of a better place to be in this moment. Here’s to strong winds and realising the future that is possible. Anyone who knows me will know how much I’ve loved my job and team at @GMMoving. It took something special to temp me away. Good news is it’s not goodbye, I’m still dancing alongside them all, albeit in a different corner of the dance floor! See you there.

Sadly the MossSideStory.uk community hub has closed, as people invited to post events, and funded to write, have let us down, and now funding for money spent has not been received. So we cannot continue. With apologies to those who did contribute, and best wishes to all.
