Each year, the Daffodil symbolizes our remembrance of the resilience, heroism, and resistance of those who stood up against the Holocaust. #AkcjaŻonkile

Three years on, families from #Sudan are still fleeing. Needs are rising. Funding is falling. Refugees and host communities cannot face this alone. Poland stepped up when it mattered most — thank you to the 🇵🇱 Government for the support for the people of Sudan. 🙏

Today, 13 April, on the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Katyń Massacre, we pay tribute to the Polish prisoners of war who were brutally murdered by the NKVD in the spring of 1940. Their graves are symbols of truth and suffering, reminding us of the cruelty of totalitarianism and the persistent attempts to falsify history. We do not forget the victims whose lives were ended with a shot to the back of the head.

Poland supports the position expressed by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, @kajakallas, on March 31, 2026. We oppose the death penalty in all cases and circumstances. It is completely unacceptable in a state of law to apply the death penalty in a way that could be considered discriminatory against people of a particular nationality. Due to our particular historical sensitivity, we call on Israel to maintain a moratorium both on carrying out executions and on imposing the death penalty. The negative effects of the latest episode of instability in the Middle East are currently being felt around the world. Poland consistently maintains the position that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which underlies most of the security threats in the region, cannot be resolved in any way other than through negotiations conducted in good faith and with respect for international law.

A group of physics teachers taking part in the National Teachers' Programme @CERN visited the Permanent Mission of Poland in Geneva last week. 🇵🇱 is committed to regularly offer such inspiring hands-on training opportunities in collaboration with CERN.

Poland is sharing its expertise in countering foreign interference in the public sphere🇵🇱🗣️ During „Countering FIMI: Warsaw wargame vol. 3” conference modern tools were used in the simulation exercise which enabled experts to test different solutions in a safe environment🛜 @eu_eeas @HybridCoE

On the National Day of Remembrance of Poles who saved Jews under German occupation, we pay tribute to those who, in times of contempt, terror, and death, did not remain indifferent. Among them were Polish diplomats from the Ładoś Group. In Bern, far from their occupied homeland but close to human tragedy, they carried out a passport operation that gave Jews a chance to survive. Aleksander Ładoś, Konstanty Rokicki, Abraham Silberschein, Chaim Eiss, Stefan Ryniewicz, and Juliusz Kühl saved Jews from the Holocaust by forging documents and restoring hope for survival. We remember. Those whose names are known, and those who remain unnamed. The victims of German crimes, and those who had the courage to save others despite the risk of death.
