One hadith raises a serious question about revelation. In Sahih al-Bukhari 3775, Muhammad reportedly told Umm Salama “Divine Inspiration never came to me while I was under the blanket of any woman among you except Aisha.” Revelation meant for all humanity was being linked to a private bedroom setting with one specific wife. That is not a small detail. How do we separate divine revelation from personal attachment, emotional preference, or favoritism when the hadith itself connects inspiration to intimate moments with Aisha? A message from the Creator should stand above private relationships. It should not sound like one wife had a special bedroom connection to revelation.
