@kawhi_ring I sort of agree with this post in a sense that Jokic wanted all nba and maybe MVP so he compromised himself. I disagree that he is now garbage lol. Jokic is playing at like 70-80% vs an all time great defender and super physical team who matchup well lol. Let’s not be hyperbolic

Jokic fell off because he cared more about his All NBA first team and chance to win MVP than the Nuggets’ title chance He came back too early from his injury, and has just not been the same player since. Consistently great, not elite. And now he’s garbage

@NBA__Courtside While ANT is very valuable, he was hurt prior to the series. He play through it but he was never fully healthy. AG and PW for te Nuggets are both injured as well and they are a big part of Denver’s O n D. Injuries goes both ways unfortunately no excuses

@aryh21 I’m a big fan of both and I always had them 1A and 1B. Embiid two way elite skills are amazing but his lack of playmaking leaves him exposed to doubles etc. Jokic has super elite playmaking but his lack of rim protection leaves him vulnerable on tha end. Super elite Cs!!

@TimGarrisonMN I am a Jokic fan and I want them to win but its tough for me to see Denver perform well with an elevated physicality from the wolves since they are home. Murray is too unreliable. I think Jokic will have a good game but the others will prob fold and they will go home.

Denver played a great game last night, but I still believe in the advantages Minnesota has even without Ant. Minnesota committed 25 turnovers, quite a few of which stem from sloppy passes and catching. The focus wasn’t quite there tonight yet they still were able to score fairly well. The Wolves have a winning gameplan, they just have to execute with more focus Thursday night.

@NBAMemes Prior to Giannis Injury I had Jokic 1 and Giannis 2 , at worst 3 for a good 3-4 year stretch. All time ranking I have Jokic 1 slot over Giannis. They are very close all time and Jokic is my fav player. Giannis has been forgotten a bit because of injuries and bad team.
