Mexico confuses me as a country. It is the country that has hosted the World Cup the most. 3X. Says something about its infrastructure. And clout. It is also a top 15 country in the world by GDP. It is also a member of OECD and G20, the prestigious comities of prosperous nations. Decent indicators of economic clout and prosperity. Yet, it is somehow a butt of joke, especially to Americans. People are reading way too much into Supergirl's box office. It's the beginning of a new DCU, not the end of a story. The goal is to lay the foundation for what's coming next.
