Unfortunately, the Damian Lillard saga has given me PTSD of Giannis coming to Miami. Of course, he has more leverage than Dame, but I am worried about The Celtics swooping in last minute (who usually work in silence), who he would also extend with, and can offer a better package. Pat Riley should simply retire if this trade does not get done. He has managed assets terribly to get to this point.

I think I underestimated Germany going into the tournament. Genuinely such a balanced squad. Defense has massively improved since Euro 2024. Just immense technicality everywhere. Musiala + Wirtz in the attack, Kimmich and Brown on the flanks, Schlotterbeck progressing deep, and Pavlovic Nmecha in the pivot.
