New York AG Letitia James, who is suing Valve over loot boxes in Counter-Strike 2 and other games, has been referred to the DOJ for alleged homeowners insurance fraud on two properties.
The referrals were filed by a Trump administration official on March 25, 2026.

Wine 11 rewrites how Linux runs Windows games at the kernel level, and the speed gains are massive.
NTSYNC support uses a new Linux kernel module to handle Windows-style thread synchronization directly at the kernel level.
Notable benchmark gains (compared to basic upstream Wine without prior optimizations):
- Dirt 3: around 110 FPS to over 860 FPS
- Tiny Tina's Wonderlands: 130 FPS to 360 FPS
- Resident Evil 2: 26 FPS to 77 FPS
- Call of Juarez: around 100 FPS to 224 FPS

In Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018): railroad workers are actually working and they nail the track into the ground before moving onto the next nail until they finish. In Crimson Desert (2026): NPCs endlessly hit the same rocks without a purpose while clipping through them.

It absolutely infuriates me whenever people bring up this topic they excuse Fortnite and act like it's a game clean of all sin.
Fortnite has been in more scandals and controversy than a typical valve game with lootboxes. Please stop batting for them if you are a casual.

Whenever the discussion of eroding art style and theming of games with collabs the argument ALWAYS WITHOUT fail they excuse fortnite bc "It works with that game" I'm so tired of this argument as it's incredibly ignorant and obviously parroted by people who don't know better.
