🚨 MOM SNAPS - DOES THE GARBAGE MEN’S JOB WHILE HER BABY CRIES ON THE LAWN They refused to pick it up for two weeks, claiming it was “too heavy.” So she stormed out, lifting and dumping the trash herself while they stood there watching.

The more I watch @Miss_Snuffy, the more I love her. My daughter just started school a few weeks ago. I'm one of the ones who's a bit worried about our education system and I just live in hope there are people that think like Katharine in every school. She. Is. BRILLIANT!

Standards are slipping! Pre lockdown all 3 of these mismatched sock options would have been a no-no. Today after a half hearted 30 second rummage I gave up and went for option 3. Option 1 still feels a bit too non conformist 🤣😳😜 #oddsocks #slipperyslope #oddshoesnext

My wife, a headteacher of 14 years and with 30 yrs teaching experience, fell through the door in tears tonight... @GavinWilliamson you need to understand that your easy headlines & ‘populist’ strategies will cost lives! Please listen to the real experts.

@lovessinging1 @richardgerver @GavinWilliamson No they are younger. Kindergarten age. Denmark has a fraction of the UK population and people seem to have taken a common sense approach - they don’t need to be ‘dictated to’ and seem to have accepted guidelines. The UK has given guidelines but people want clear orders.

@Parentpages @richardgerver @GavinWilliamson Denmark has one fifth the number of infections than we've had deaths and only had 92 deaths per million people to our 489 per million (based on conservative death estimates) ...apples and pears really. Also their children are older than the ones we are planning to return 😕

@funpossumfacts Drive or walk to work if you can. That’s the message. It’s very clear. It’s about common sense, consideration for others and safety first. If you’ve got a car or bike and can, then use them. This way people who need to use public transport have more space.

@MarathonDom @richardgerver @GavinWilliamson In France schools are open for younger children but attendance is voluntary. There are limited places and parents have to register their interest and once the class is full it’s full. No one as far I know is suing the government if they don’t get a place.

@MarathonDom @richardgerver @GavinWilliamson Yes i agree that the UK is not comparable. Different population density and cultural attitude. However what happens within a classroom can be looked at and compared - class sizes must be reduced. This can be done by making attendance voluntary as they’ve done in France.

@simon_watkins @WeeWhiteWabbit @caitlinmoran @islandliving365 I don't understand why party political point scorers keep comparing the UK to NZ. It's just not clever and my tweet was not intended to excuse anyone. I'm trying to point out to these people who think that the UK is the worst off in the whole world, that they are not alone.

@Parentpages @WeeWhiteWabbit @caitlinmoran @islandliving365 Stupid response from a stupid apologists. We are talking about clarity of rules and consistency. Stop making lame excuses for the government. Nobody is expecting the rate of infection to be the same in London as rural areas. Countries with dense populations need stronger measures

That the latest "decision" is that you can have your cleaner or your nanny visit your house, but not your parents, is so parodically the call of posh men who were sent away to boarding school, it's actually made me hysterical.
