@IrelandEmbGB @SheronBoyle1 There is no legal requirement to do any quarantine in Ireland if coming from any country. To say otherwise is misleading. The only legal requirement is to submit the form on arrival in the country. I don’t know why the embassy would give out incorrect information 🤷‍♂️

@SheronBoyle1 Hi, it remains the case that the Irish Government is advising against all non-essential travel. 14 day quarantine applies to all overseas travellers, irrespective of nationality & apart from some very narrow exceptions (such as air crews). More info here: www2.hse.ie/conditions/cor…

@IrelandEmbGB @dreamingoak You are *asked* to quarantine, but that’s an entirely different thing, and you may get a call from the guards, but you break no law by not being at your given address if they call.

@IrelandEmbGB in light of today's announcement by UK government, can you advise regarding travel between UK and RoI? Irish travel advice appears to conflict with UK reassurance of common travel area not requiring quarantine?

@nickluck @GSWooster Add “calling it out” to the list too. It’s the new “taking offence at everything said, regardless of whether there was anything offensive in the first place.”

How has being rude/bombastic/unkind morphed so readily into “telling it like it is.” Because, mostly, you’re not telling it like it is, you’re just goading/provoking/offending one group so you can bask in the approval of another.

@zeitquest Great way to get hold of a genuine Moon Watch for a fraction of the price of the more widely-publicised Moon Watch. Arguably technically superior also, but that’s for another day.

@TheRoyalButler Indeed. I would add: don’t imbibe unless your host is partaking also or there is a bottle for the table, don’t order something which takes an inordinate amount of time to prepare, and only make small talk over the starter - keep the main event for the main course or dessert.

@MenswearStyle I’m afraid the only weight loss tip that actually works is a combination of cutting down on the pork pies and getting more exercise. Anything else is hokum. Ca n’existe pas! 😊

In a subtle nod to the days of Gatsby and Gekko, we've reintroduced the contrast collar shirt as part of our Spring Summer 2020 collection. This elegant blue and white striped option is a solid choice for when you're taking on the city. turnbullandasser.co.uk/catalogsearch/…

Why do manners matter? They are an outward expression of one’s inner civility, and show both one’s respect for self and for others. Always smile and say “thank you”, regardless of the favour, regardless of the person, regardless of who you are or think you are. #etiquette

@Longines Very nice! I especially like the domed crystal for that retro effect. What’s the movement?

@paul_deegan @JetsonLes Always sad to see a bird retiring, but a wide-aisle is undoubtedly better suited to transat flights. Fare thee well sweet Shamrock...
