@paulg YC has funded lending businesses that lend to startups. Many YC companies have raised venture debt and turned out just fine. Yet you seem to have a very strong aversion to companies having debt in their capital structure, when, in reality, moderate leverage can work for many.

Talked to yet another founder whose company was killed by venture debt. I asked why they took it. He said they just tacked some onto the end of one of their funding rounds. It seemed like free money.
