The right move. And the expected one. As I'd said on Next-Gen Console Watch several times, if Nintendo DIDN'T have backwards compatibility on the Switch 2, I'd have led the pitchfork and torch riot myself. Anyway, this is good news, even if it's not a surprise.

This is Furukawa. At today's Corporate Management Policy Briefing, we announced that Nintendo Switch software will also be playable on the successor to Nintendo Switch. Nintendo Switch Online will be available on the successor to Nintendo Switch as well. Further information about the successor to Nintendo Switch, including its compatibility with Nintendo Switch, will be announced at a later date.

Turns out the game that our uni group has been working hard on for the past month is practically identical in all but art to another game that I discovered on Instagram reels yesterday. The other game isn't out yet and nobody on our team knew of it but it's kinda devastating.

So Unity Hub just said my license was revoked? And now Unity Hub won't launch?? And support tickets take more than 2 MONTHS to get a response??? Un-fucking-believable.
