Unpicking the Premier League's fixture announcement around the Champions League games. Means it looks pretty certain that: Arsenal play their UCL games Weds, March 11 and Tuesday, March 17 Liverpool and Tottenham play their UCL games Tues, March 10 and Wednesday, March 18

@DaleJohnsonBBC Do you expect Chelsea to be allowed to play 2nd leg at home? Last season for the QF and SF of Conference League we had home/away legs switched to avoid clashing with Spurs, although they let there be a clash for the R16

This is because Liverpool v Tottenham is not under threat of being moved from Sunday, March 15. Therefore, their UCL second-leg ties must be pencilled in for the Wednesday. Arsenal and Tottenham cannot play at home on the same day. So Arsenal's second leg tie must be Tuesday.

@tim_rolls @NiceGuyKenny The Chelsea app doesn’t work for away tickets. They do appear in the Chelsea app but they won’t work - for West Ham they appeared in app but were then deleted from the app on the day of the match. For Brentford you should have a paper ticket, and for Man Utd it’ll be an email

@NiceGuyKenny Some AST's (though not me, or not yet, anyway) seem to have had a paper ticket for Brentford despite there being an e-ticket for the game on the app. This stuff surely is not that difficult, Ken. It's ticket selling and distribution, not splitting the atom

When filling out the declaration forms for Bayern Munich away so that they can make us collect a piece of printed out paper instead of trusting us with a digital ticket they request a confirmation number. That is missing from the confirmation email now.

@NiceGuyKenny When I filled it in I put the “Booking Reference” from the top of the email. It’s not the format that the form says it should be in but it’s the only thing that looks like it could be what they want

This switch to away 1st is far from settled imo. Legia will be absolutely screaming to keep it as it is. Real Madrid threatened to take uefa to court when it happened against us in 22 and they shit it and switched back….

@PatSham1 @ShemTabor In 95 (I know but I’m 48) when it was us and Arsenal both in the CWC, they switched our home games to the Wednesday. I’d imagine they’d do similar for our home game as it would clearly put our prospective qf and sf opponents at a disadvantage if the ties were switched.
