@HistorianUSA1 Got to be a lot of stupid people in restaurant management. Didn't really think they were. I've managed a lot of people meritocracy is your best friend.

Blue-haired waitress just destroyed the “end tipping” crowd with cold hard reality “If we get rid of tipping, good luck finding anyone to work Fridays, Saturdays, and especially Sundays.” She lays it out: Why would she bust her ass on 10x busier weekend shifts for the same low hourly wage as a slow Monday? The after-church crowd that “loves Jesus but hates everybody else”? The price hikes that are coming anyway? The restaurants that will cut staff on busy nights? She says the quiet part out loud: That money is coming out of your pocket either way. This is one of the most common-sense takes I’ve heard on this in a long time. Even with the blue hair and piercings… she’s 100% right. Tipping isn’t the problem — it’s the incentive system that actually gets people to show up and hustle. What do you think? End tipping?

🚨OH. MY. GOSH!!! An absolutely MASSIVE "teen takeover" at a park in Detroit erupted MASS BRAWLS, SMASHING WINDOWS, and ended with a 16-year-old being shot. Residents say they are TERRIFIED about the summer months and don't know what to do. WE DON'T HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!!!
