Hey @djcows I think I just found an “idea guy” who actually has a really valid point.
If I had the capital, I would bring this kid onboard at my company. That’s a brilliant mind to have on the team. Whoever hires that kid is probably gonna be super lucky.

Interesting angle on delivering privacy and security to consumers at Percept AGI. This angle on creating an affordable and minimalist solution is intriguing and different from a lot of other novelty based systems that are still in very early stages of research and development.

@Mostafakhafagyy That’s a very good question and I’d like to thank you for asking that. We have looked into both options. They are great. However we are planning to use an assembler-based algorithm and informational processing method for all our models and engines to allow full local operation.

@PerceptAGI The on-device privacy angle is the interesting part to me...
keeping the data local instead of round-tripping to someone's cloud. Are you running quantized models on the device itself, or a local server setup?

@benln We really took the time to create something new from the ground up and getting back to the basics instead of hyperlinking to existent hugging face models or LLM dependencies.
It’s still very much in development but there was a very heavy emphasis on creating a better technology.

This would be my build of the day. I’m really not someone that into building games. I really enjoy working more on backend code or implementations for microcontrollers/microcomputers or actual tools/libraries for languages that make the systems run.

@SecWar I’m glad this initiative was taken. I’m also happy that every major US company moved away from using Python. These two steps should really improve our national security over the next 5-10 years.
