Last night, British “musician” Billy Ellis declared America to be “stollen land” during the Grammys. While some might cry “free speech,” let me explain to you why that’s wrong
1. The first amendment only applies to American citizens
2. Political statements are allowed on cable, but are illegal on public television
3. Her constitutional oath of loyalty prohibits her from questioning the legitimacy of the oldest and greatest country on earth
The Trump Administration needs to do the right thing and deport her back to the UK immediately

@twitandrewking Kraft owns the mac n cheese business. Used to be that Italpasta made most of the private label skus but they got out of the business yrs ago bc it was unprofitable. Unless something changed, retailers matching walmart on kd will do it at lo or no profit.

@NSValley Multibuys work. That’s why they do it. MB’s require less $$ investment from retailer/vendor but are proven to increase volume. Walmart started it, everyone followed. Ontario is the most competitive market in North America. Loblaws banners have some of the highest retails.

@twitandrewking A few things. I was a buyer when this was $.99. At that retail there was no profit. And the competitive retail was diff in Ont than Que. During pandemic the first strategy for many suppliers was cut ad funding before raising costs. UMAP may also be in play.

@twitandrewking Ontario used to be considered the most competitive grocery landscape in North Amerca. A big European grocer setup here years ago, hired buyers then shut down before opening a store. Between Walmart, GT and Dollarama our pricing is very competitive.

If you were wondering if it would be cheaper to drive an hour south and do groceries in Ogdensburg, NY, USA at Price Chopper, I did the math…
I compared current prices on exact/similar items & it turns out it’s almost the same price when you factor in our poor CDN$ exchange.
$75.44 vs. $76.04!
Not worth the drive with gas/bridge toll etc.

@Bell remote internet service is laughable. For $180/month, it takes about 5 mins to watch a 30 sec video, 5-10 mins to upload a single photo and I’m currently into my 11th HOUR trying to upload a 1 minute video.
