@PeterBerryPicks Who was announcer before you? Wondering who called when was going in the late 90s
English

@buangboy @BombsawayBob Indeed. Might have to call it something different over here lest people take it the wrong way.

@PeterBerryPicks @cambridgeracewy @AdamHSport Quite a few.
Larry went 53.2 back in January

@jtoth1433 I was disappointed with The Tubes - saw them at the Roxy in Phoenix. They didn’t do their best song - Don’t Touch Me There. Surely they could have hired a woman for that one song.

If tracks go to AI race calls, I doubt any would use my voice.
CraigeyB&PicoDog!@ClassicGolferUS
@PeterBerryPicks Definitely coming but I think we both know several callers who would really struggle with the technology and tracks we cut our teeth at.

Next step will be AI calling ALL the races EVERYWHERE.

So @SkyRacingAU are persisting with interstate callers calling off monitors who just don't know local colours & names well enough to nail it, yet we have great callers doing parade ring interviews. It's time to respect the art of racecalling from the track #mcniff @TasracingAus

The Mountaineer meet is just around the corner (April 12) and already the trainers’ race is shaping as a mouth-watering contest. The stall allocation gives us an early clue: Jay Bernardini has been allocated 64 stalls, while Kentucky Derby winner Eric Reed has moved his base from Kentucky to Mountaineer and has 48 stalls. Juan Vazquez is next with 47 stalls, followed by Jami Poole (39), Tina Ramgeet (33), Julie Mathes (25), Maximino Quinonez (24), Virginia Demczyk (24), J. Michael Baird (23), Ramon Preciado (22), Moises Valdez (20), Terry Crago (20), Lyn Cuttino (20), Jennifer Johnson (20), Jeff Fletcher (20), Stephani Norris (19), and Horacio Barbaran (18). Juan Pablo Silva has been allocated 14 stalls but ships in and likely will be among the leading trainers again.
• In other Mountaineer news, the West Virginia Derby has been put back a week and will now be run on the second Sunday in August.

Keayang Zahara’s brilliance primed the crowd, Hollywood Strip kept ‘em hooked and the Leap To Fame stole the show as Larry tends to do.
My take of one of the great lest harness meetings I’ve been to @ClubMenangle last night for @HarnessUpdate

@StuartGillesp18 @AdamHSport @ClubMenangle @HRNSW_Harness @BrittanyTGraham @TracksideNZ @telegraph_sport Not much coverage without A. Hamilton.
English

@AdamHSport @ClubMenangle @HRNSW_Harness @BrittanyTGraham @TracksideNZ @telegraph_sport The build up and coverage to the Miracle Mile has been outstanding, the best I can recall. This story adds another wonderful dimension to it all.

Took my phenomenal Fiancée @ParisTheEvans & charismatic Cavoodle Nico around Preston’s old Trots training track to hype myself for on course hosting duties at Sunday’s Charlton Cup. Hoping to do Andrea O’Gorman & the late, great Joey Thompson proud!

@barstoolsports Not to be that guy, but wouldn't it be easier to just drive?
