@Parody_PM @JASBar Did @RishiSunak forget he could (should) look in more than one direction at press conferences? He's either forgotten all he learned from the previous Tory leadership contest or he sent his robot stooge to the podium. Very weird.

One of the key skills a Prime Minister needs is the ability to talk to a random spot on the wall in the voice of Alexa.

@GaryLineker Do you (the man, albeit an ace striker, who threw a toddler tantrum when his manager substituted him) think these lib dem "B@//*cks to Brexit" tops in the chamber are more dignified?

@IFilipau @Peston @eucopresident We'll see - they said they needed a 'clear' plan. Frankly there isn't one... so any extension will be breaking that requirement and in my view simply extending everyone's pain

@PeterG_71 @Peston @eucopresident I do not discount your idea. But do you realize that those are 27 leaders of the leading world countries? If they fudge it now the same way they have fudged it March, what worth would be their words in the future? People in UK seriously underestimate with whom they are dealing.

As everyone already knows, @eucopresident is making the case for a long "flexible" Brexit postponement of no more than a year - but with the UK able to leave earlier if all legal and political conditions for Brexit are met earlier. But, as you know, I do not believe that...

@SkyNews It's taking the Mickey out of westerners for assuming chopsticks are needed. No racism here imo

@guardian Surely, the ad was taking the Mickey out of westerners for assuming chopsticks were required? No racism here, imo.

@Peston If this is true, who needs Russia anymore to manipulate elections? The EU would be taking the box-seat and will prove it was lying about needing a clear strategy FROM the UK to grant an extension. It will be reiterating it's own - prisoner cell block UK !

I am now told by reliable sources that the most likely outcome of the special summit on Wednesday is another kicking of the Brexit can down the road, but only till a bit after the elections for the European Parliament at the end May - so that a potential no-deal Brexit...

Why would you block this @Malala ? Hoping you can confirm it was an error and you can condemn such an act against these girls.

For Tory Brexiteers still dreaming we leave on no deal March 29: extension agreed and signed off by EU27 is a decision binding in international law. EU law, not domestic law, created the 29th March legal “cliff-edge.” Failure to amend exit date in UK law does not lead to No Deal
