Shedeur Sanders is not a first round talent. He’s the same height and weight as Brock Purdy and Purdy, the literal last pick in the draft a few years ago, was a better prospect. That doesn’t mean he can’t go in the back half of the first round and continue to develop. It means he doesn’t possess the physical tools or film typically associated with a first round pick. Sanders’ lack of arm strength does not bury him at the next level since we know the mind is the most important aspect of playing QB. But unlike Purdy, the mental aspect of Sanders’ game does not elevate him. Analysis: 🔹First we must acknowledge we have to slightly minimize his production due to playing with the literal best player in the draft. Travis Hunter is a freak and should be the #1 overall pick. 🔹Average arm strength. The defense doesn’t have to cover the entire field because of this. 🚩 🔹There are very few anticipation throws on film. This is a massive 🚩. He’ll have to win with anticipation in the NFL because of his physical limitations and he didn’t consistently show he could do that in college. 🔹Rarely hits his back foot and decisively throws right away. It’s beautiful when he does it but it’s rare. 🚩 🔹Can he consistently read a defense and go through his progressions? Is he a fast processor? I have questions. He was largely a “see it then throw it” QB in college. Massive 🚩, especially with his limited arm. 🔹Takes too many sacks 🚩. Yes his OL was bad but he also consistently held onto the ball too long, which was a product of his questionable mental processing. 🔹Rarely pushes up in the pocket. Instead he drifts a lot of the time. 🚩Cam Ward can get away with inconsistent footwork and drifting at time because he has an elite arm. Sanders doesn’t and must play more disciplined. 🔹Footwork is all over the place and inconsistent 🚩 🔹Accuracy is not elite. Another issue combined with his average arm. 🚩 🔹Being a playmaker and having that mindset is built into his game. That’s good! But also it’s bad because he’s an average athlete. How will that scrambling translate to the league? He is impressively elusive in the pocket but he’s also not fast. He thinks he can run backwards to avoid defenders and that’s just not going to consistently happen in the NFL. That play style is going to lead to sacks, fumbles, holding calls, and possibly injury in the league. 🚩 🔹Where are the deep MOF throws over the running LB with his back turned? Rarely see it on film 🚩 🔹Where are the back shoulder throws? Rarely see them on film 🚩 Citing my work: 8 All 22 games watched via @theqbschool patreon -2023 Nebraska -2023 Colorado State -2024 Baylor -2024 Texas Tech -2024 Utah -2024 Kansas -2024 Oklahoma State -2024 BYU

How far we've come... Cant remember the last time I "coined" a card.

Alright you guys want to know who the seller is… it’s @WolfesBreaks He lives about a hour north of me and just last year I met up with him bought a big WVU / Jevon Carter collection for $2,900 cash. Then even more recently I bought two more “grail” Jevon Carter cards for ~$400 I believe. I paid via CashApp and he sent them and everything went well. He then approached me with these cards and asked if I wanted to buy them. Of course I wanted to buy my first Tom Brady Auto, I mean it’s so sick especially with the inscription. Anyways, he has never had PayPal even though I only basically pay PayPal g&s for every single deal but didn’t blink an eye having to split up Venmo / Cashapp payments due to legit doing an in person deal with him & multiple other successful deals. We added a few more cards onto the brady card and he apparently shipped them Feb 5th via FedEx & just a few hours later it got a very weird RTS. (return to sender) Throughout the past month and half he claims he has went down there multiple times to try to recover the package and essentially they can’t find it, I guess? I paid him ~$7,500 for these cards & he has yet to refund me ANY amount nor offer any other resolution. I mentioned I’d be very fair and would do a payment plan or even trade + cash towards the debt or full trade lol. If the package actually did get lost / stolen, it is a very SHITTY situation considering he would be out the cards and I would be out my money. However, it’s part of the business - if you can’t risk shipping a package that you can’t properly reimburse if it gets lost then you shouldn’t be in the business. I understand $7,500 is a large sum of money and it can take some time to recoup funds to send back but that is why I was so open and transparent about figuring out a solution that works for both of us. He has a wife, two young boys and I understand adding a $7,500 “bill” to an already expensive world can be brutal. Especially, if he already spent my money on other stuff. The reason I didn’t make this post sooner is due to the fact he is still occasionally responding to me & he has always been a super nice guy. However, I now feel like i’m being somewhat taken advantage of for my generosity towards this situation. I still have hope Brian will do the right thing & make me whole. (as he told me via text March 5th) If you have any ideas on where these cards could potentially be - lmk asap and we can hopefully find a solution. Drop your thoughts below about the entire situation. This business isn’t for the faint hearted & can absolutely suck sometimes. Thanks for the support ❤️
