@frankbay9r crowd is half the punch in boxing. wouldnt surprise me if fighters pull back from sequences they'd press in a hot room with the crowd going wild. sucks the life out the fights.

Im sorry I like Zuffa fights but these crowds are seriously dull. Sounds like Im at a cheer camp show with everyone busy and just one or two families cheering. Most of the crowd looks to be having a latte watching a fire fight. #zuffaboxing06

roy's not wrong on the pay model. boxing's strength was ALWAYS the open market: many promoters, many networks, fighters able to walk if the number's wrong. that's the only reason purses ever climbed. UFC base pay flatlined for twenty years after Zuffa took it. one buyer for every fight always ends one way for the worker. undercard fighters being told take the deal or sit. who warns the next generation before they sign, or do we just watch it happen?
