@RyderPisenti @433 LOL you think Belgium had respect by saying "overturn this" when they knew damn well the red card was bogus but whined like little babies when it was overturned. And then intentionally targeted thighs to injure US players. Dirty ass players in a dirty game.

@433 GG Belgium. Sorry about all of my fellow idiot American fans. Us actual football fans in this country recognize when we got outplayed and generally have respect.

@HaterReport No class. They know damn well it wasn't a red card. But they whined like little babies when it was overturned as it should have been. Intentionally going after US players thighs to injure them also exhibited no class.

🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨 Liberal US soccer fans are BLAMING President Donald Trump for the loss tonight and being eliminated from the World Cup. Trump called FIFA President Gianni Infantino to review the red card given to Folarin Balogunz. Fans are blaming this for a momentum-change.

My theory as to why Americans don’t like soccer: - Offside rule is stupid. There are actually ways to play without it that don’t ruin the game, but the Euros aren’t clever enough to figure it out. - Red card is like an NBA ejection, except you’re out the next game too, and it doesn’t matter if it’s not intentional. Freak accident? Sorry, you’re still out. - Oh, and even though the guy might have gotten thrown out purely due to incidental contact… don’t let the team bring anyone else in. Let them play 1 man short the rest of the game because an accident happened. - Oh, later on… someone gets injured. Sure let’s just pause the clock till it gets all cleared up. Actually, let’s just keep the clock going and take a vague guess at the end about how much time we lost - And then not keep to that guess and add a couple more minutes until we think the match is just right to end. - Oh, one of the teams scores during that extra minute that was not necessary if we just stopped the clock? Oh well, that’s life. - Let’s not pause the game for hydration break either. Gotta do everything we can to keep the game length vague at the end, after all. - It’s also amazing how often injured players are on the verge of death, and then once no card is called, they immediately recover like wolverine! Except in the last minutes of the game when their team is holding on to a lead. Then they just stayed injured for a really long time for some reason (after they tripped over their own foot) - Oh, game going to extra time? Let’s play a whole other half game! I think this game is so inherently third world backwards (for the reasons I state above), Americans just instinctually know to avoid it.

#belgium has no class for saying overturn this. Anyone who knows soccer knows damn well the US player should not have received a red card. Yet Belgium whined like a cry baby. Also no class for taking cheap shots at the thighs of US players attempting to injure them. Pathetic

@BelRedDevils By the way taking multiple cheap shots at US players thighs to injure them is not a classy way to win.

@BelRedDevils You have no class for saying that. You know damn well the red card needed to be overturned because the call was totally bullshit. Belgium can go fuck themselves.

@EW he said - "Not that I'm afraid of it at all, but it's just I realize that this level of influence -I'm going to keep my politics to myself, and I think it's between me and the ballot box" nothing wrong with being apolitical and being friendly 2 other people irregardless of P.

@FOXSports Eastern European ref who hates America is who issued the red card. FIFA should sanction him, and the red card should be removed. This is complete corruption from a guy who literally hates the USA.

This 60 Minutes clip seems most appropriate today: "When you had that third failure in a row, did you think, 'I need to pack this in?'" Elon Musk: "Never." "Why not?" "I don't ever give up." "Elon Musk got kicked out of the company he founded, watched his rocket explode on live TV, and had every major investor tell him Tesla was going to fail. Most people would’ve quit after one of those. He went through all three. That’s the thing nobody talks about. Success doesn’t look like a straight line up. It looks like losing everything, rebuilding from zero, and showing up again anyway. Elon didn’t win because he was the smartest guy in the room. He won because he refused to stop."

We've all seen how 60 Minutes interviews Trump. They go to war with him on every statement. Scott Pelley has interviewed Biden numerous times. They are always softball interviews but his 2022 interview with Biden was particularly pathetic. Inflation was just off of a 40 year high. Pelley did ask him one question it about inflation in the beginning and then moved on to the fun stuff. No questions about the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan the year before. No questions about the fact that the border was wide open and had been for two years. Here's some clips from that pathetic interview. 1/7: Biden claims to have reduced the debt. No correction or follow-up from Pelley.

Remember when Scott Pelley used 60 Minutes to completely dismiss the concerns of mothers about sexually explicit books in schools? Good riddance to this sanctimonious prick.

Elon just created 4,400 millionaires in a single day. 400 of them are now worth over $100 million. These aren't VCs. They're SpaceX employees, and the list includes welders, technicians, and cafeteria staff, because for two decades the company paid every level of the workforce in stock instead of higher salaries. Juan Hernandez immigrated from Mexico and took a $28 an hour contractor welding job in 2015. He says he didn't even know what SpaceX was. The company gave him a $10,000 equity grant and let him buy more shares through payroll deductions. That stake is now worth $880,000. Trevor Hise's parents wanted him to take a stable job at General Electric. He picked SpaceX instead, stayed 12 years, and accumulated over 100,000 shares. At the $135 listing price that's $13.5 million. He's 37 and semiretired. His words: "The magnitude of this has been ridiculous." The most telling detail came before the listing. Over 100 employees quietly banded together and negotiated a group wealth management deal covering up to $5 billion, because none of them had ever needed a wealth manager before. Software IPOs have minted millionaires for 30 years. This is the first one where the money went to the factory floor.
