Wow! Every space on our 3 Heritage Open Days tours is taken. This is great but means that unfortunately we can't accommodate "walk ins". If you'd really like to visit its worth checking Eventbrite for cancellations or to book onto our regular monthly tour in October. Thank you.

The more experienced volunteers are teaching the new joiners. We are now making rapid progress with the window restoration and pointing. Great news to share!

@vasnews Another great day here at Portland Works. 20 Building and Maintenance volunteers worked with us today - a bit of a record! The VAS volunteers fair in June was wonderful for us. We recruited at least 8 regular volunteers through that and their enthusiasm is fabulous!

What a beautiful exhibition this is and how wonderful to see that Portland Works and our role in the development of stainless steel cutlery is given a mention. Some amazing examples of craftsmanship by PW tenants too. Very special.
