The Pandemic Fund is well positioned to support these efforts. Its catalytic, collaborative model is fit for today’s #healthfinancing landscape. Nearly US$7 billion is now in the Fund’s global portfolio, including US$885 million in grants that have mobilized more than US$6 billion in co-financing and co-investment. Many thanks to the organizers and fellow panelists for this timely conversation on mobilizing #collaborativeleadership, resources, and partnerships to tackle global challenges and strengthen #healthsecurity.

At today’s “Tackling Future Threats in an Era of Multipolarity” event hosted by @PandemicAction, @TheIndPanel, @TheElders, @AfricaEuropeFdn and RANA, @PriyaBasu2017, Executive Head of @Pandemic_Fund, joined global leaders to explore how to close gaps in pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response (PPR) amid overlapping crises. Key takeaways: ➡️ Preparedness is an investment, not an expense. ➡️ Closing financing gaps requires strong country ownership, more domestic & international investment, and deeper public–private partnerships. ➡️ Collaborative, catalytic approaches matter. ➡️ Pandemic risk is part of a broader global agenda, intertwined with climate, security, and other challenges. ➡️ Preparedness needs more than public-sector action.

Delighted to participate in the World Health Summit. At #WHSNewDelhi2025 I stated that this is not merely India’s decade but also India’s health decade. India is moving towards a world where health innovation is open, inclusive, and truly global. Health is not just a sector—but a shared mission, intertwined with India’s global commitment to climate resilience.
