It's not even the same. Adelabu is a first-class graduate of OAU. He rose through the ranks with all the experience and training one could get at PWC and FBN till he became an Executive Director at 39. Then went on to be a Deputy Governor at CBN. All of these, he earned because of what he had to offer. The one who shall not be named was either placed there due to political reasons or voted in by smaller shareholders.
🏆 #14@MayorMillzz

This applies to Adelabu too, he was First Bank MD at 39,worked for CBN and PWC and yet you have insulted him on your own page, if you can do that I’m sure she can say her mind about PO

@Promythious No he did not. Around the time he assumed office, BH were on the ropes, put to the sword by Eeben Barlow's men. What did our favorite useless general do? Refused to renew their contract, declared BH "technically defeated" and looked on forlornly as they regrouped.

From all the papers I’m reading, Buhari tried his best militarily. But you cannot give what you don’t have. The Nigerian state is simply incapable of dealing with these guys as currently constituted.

Farmers republic of Nigeria. Every Tom dick and Harry that wants to become president must talk some bullshit about “we must produce food”. And all of them attended “IVY LEAGUE” universities. Horrible, horrible people.

It is the easiest possible explanation they could come up with instead of a little bit of curiosity and everyone just swallows it up without perusing the theory. I know a former Ekiti governor who handed guns to cult members to snatch ballot boxes in Ikole-Ekiti 15 years ago. Why would they need prisoners from Ethiopia when there is surplus of idle youths.

You people just sit down and make things up in your head. Nigeria has been signing Prisoner Transfer Agreement since the days of Obasanjo. The politicians don’t rate you high enough to use prisoners in Ethiopia for their dirty election rigging when they have cult members. Personally, I oppose these Prisoner Transfer Agreement because our prison system is corrupt and some of these people will bribe their way out and end up not serving time. In few years, Ethiopia will most likely cancel the agreement when they discover Nigeria is abusing the process.

Most of the leaders in the country especially in the south had public or private sector careers. Engineers, banker, doctors, lawyers etc but we somehow believe they are not smart when they end up in positions of power and become ineffectual. Akeredolu (SAN) was one of the best lawyers in the country and was a disappointment in Ondo state. People complain about Soludo daily here but he is a brilliant economist. Bosun Tijani worked in the private sector and was highly touted but he looks clueless to all today. Akin Alabi built a business but he’s just another politician that is not smart to you. Sanwo-Olu was ridiculed as a psychiatrist ward patient regardless of his private sector experience. There are outliers but most of these people are not outright blockheads.
Ab.@olaoluwajedalo

Something Ayobami said on that podcast that I was surprised that a lot of people didn’t know is the fact that we’re being led by the smartest people in the country. I’ve always thought it was common knowledge.

Also, some bandits and terrorists are viewed as heroes in different localities because they provide security against other bandits and terrorist groups. Bandit A protects Community X from Bandit B while taxing the community. Insurgents like ISWAP settle disputes, provide Medicare
josie elewa, unemployed@Promythious

From the papers I’m reading, banditry is actually a worse problem than terrorism, At least since 2021. They’ve caused a bigger humanitarian crisis in the NW than the NE. Probably why the military asked the US to bomb Sokoto first.

Hiring more teachers is clearer than improving education. Fixing road A and road B is clearer than improving infrastructure. Let's have what we can measure and properly refute or agree with. Vague-speak just allows people run us street again and again.

"I will open BRT lane to private operators" is a clearer stance than "I will improve transportation in Lagos" That's the level of specificity we should get from those vying for office and even public commentary. Less than 12 months to elections and nobody is specific on anything

Banditry is worse because A) they are heavily armed and probably more well funded than terrorists because of success from kidnappings and B) they are heavily decentralized and integrate more easily with host communities since they have no ideological grouses

This lie is just so funny. Thousands of Nigerians walk around with the idea that Boko Haram A) was willing to negotiate, whatever that means and B) they named Buhari as one. So hilarious, and people who believe it are so stubborn in their delusion.
Unam Ikot@UnamIkot_

@Promythious the same Buhari said "a fight against Boko Haram is a fight against the north". Boko Haram named Buhari as a negotiator. Northern elites cried wolf when azubike ihejirika went on a rampage against Boko Haram in Jonathan's last months. Let's not change history, abeg.
