@reborn_sonic I think it was ok in 06, since they do handle certain areas differently, and have different partners at times. You also didn't play the stages in the exact same row like in Heroes

@PsycoTheFrog Like if it meant not every character visited every stage then yeah I'd be down for multiple campaigns but it also should be that the level the character is in should make sense. For example: Silver gets Crisis City, Sonic gets Wave Ocean, Shadow gets White Acropolis etc.

@reborn_sonic I would say the multiple campaigns was for replay value as that was a pretty big deal back then, but I wont lie, would've been really cool if Shadow had a game similar to Jak 2 and 3, lol

@kristanovva never mattered to me about the different regions since there's tracks from both that I like because they keep general themes.

It's funny how criticisms against Sonic being a static character are aimed at the SegaSonic version because Sonic was also largely static in the older Western interpretations. His personality is just kinda different in those.

@reborn_sonic I do think that's one of it's biggest flaws outside of the combination of the level design and length. They could've just did it like SA2 where everyone runs through different stages with the same layout rather then the same exact stages, or each team runs through a certain few

@PsycoTheFrog I feel like Heroes would be better if it didn't require all 4 campaigns to go through the same stages all the time. They should've done just one big campaign and have you switch teams when appropriate

I hate this current era of Sonic, I don't care if it's successful with money, what's the point? The cooler parts of the franchise only get recognition in mobile spin offs. Meanwhile the mainline games are still struggling to have a strong identity/ style compared to the past eras
