@martinplaut That couldn’t be more obviously staged, from the lighting to the way the table has beedn ‘dressed’.

A message to all my brother Andrew's #AndyKershaw friends, fans and supporters
Hiya,
Our Andrew was a force of nature. But, on the evening of Thursday April 16th, a very aggressive cancer finally found his Off Switch.
Throughout his illness and the last 9 months of treatment he never complained. He was stoic and positive to the end. His courage shone through. When he announced he was determined to walk again he did. Through his usual bloody mindedness, sheer grit, and hard work. His sense of humour never waned. When he was told he might lose his hair he sent off for a selection of jaunty hats. His consultant says she’s never had a patient who worked so hard to help himself and was so inspiring
Even when in discomfort, pain, and fear, he was charming and kind to everyone who cared for him.
I know how much his website and his podcast meant to him. Thank you for sticking with him when he was unable to update it any more.
His producer Peter and I hope to keep it, and all that is so uniquely Andy within it, alive in his memory. Peter will be posting previously unheard material
And I will be sharing news of a memorial event our family is working on with many of the musicians he loved and who wish to honour the support he gave them over his 6 decades in music promotion and media (1978 - 2026)
We will do him proud.
It is heartbreaking and hard to take in that my blue eyed little brother is gone. But very very comforting that he is certainly not forgotten.
Your messages from all over the world really helped to keep him going. And now they are a huge comfort to his family
Thank you
Our Elizabeth

@59W00dy59 Not a fan by any stretch and he should be scrutinised forensically. But he gets criticism because he's on too much, and now because he isn't on.
English

@PumpkinOne97847 criticised for refusing to be scrutinised.
English

Unbelievable, Once again, Farage avoids scrutiny before the election by refusing to appear on #BBCLauraK Why do so many people get taken in by this fraud.
English

They said we’d go down.
They said DF was just a Champ manager
They said he won’t last season.
They said sack him
They said play the kids,FA cup means Fuck all
They said we won’t beat Man U at OT
They said DCL won’t stay fit
You know what they can do
They can fuck off!😀#LUFC

@EliAfriatISR @NYCMayor The condoms could be considered for humanitarian purposes though.
English

Last night, Israeli forces intercepted and boarded a humanitarian aid flotilla bound for Gaza in international waters off the coast of Greece — unlawfully detaining more than 175 people, including several New Yorkers.
My team has been in direct contact with State and Federal partners as we work to confirm the whereabouts and conditions of these New Yorkers.
This is a brazen violation of international law. Those detained must be released.

@wizzardhorse @BritIndianVoice @CManson167656 Maybe the issue is because they are not accepted as fully British by the British.
English

@BritIndianVoice @CManson167656 Therein lies the issue. After three generations you still class yourselves as British Indians, instead of British.
English

My grandfather came to Britain in 1965.
He didn’t speak much English.
He worked night shifts in a factory in Birmingham.
He paid his taxes.
Kept his head down.
Never complained.
His son became a doctor.
His granddaughter is a tech engineer.
His great-grandchildren were born British.
Three generations. Zero crime. Zero benefits fraud. Zero debt to this country.
And still, STILL someone tells us to go home.
Where exactly is home supposed to be?

@BritIndianVoice @CManson167656 Indian cricket is the best in the world. Totally understand your dilemma, but at least you can support both.
English

We get asked this a lot!
As a British Indians, we feel lucky to get two world-class teams to root for. We support England in the Ashes because this is our home, but when they play India, we lean toward our roots.
It’s like having two kids; you don't pick a favorite, you just enjoy the game.
who are you backing when India plays Pakistan this June? 🏏

English

@castleton_emma @Kevin_Maguire Glasses and an Arsenal ticket. Is that all? You keep telling yourself those lies.
English

@Kevin_Maguire No but keir starmer accepted a pair of glasses and an arsenal ticket. Surely more scandalous? Honestly the bias is beyond parody and very scary

Nigel Farage secretly accepting a FIVE MILLION POUNDS gift from a Thai-based crypto tycoon is one of the biggest political financial scandals of this or any era.
Farage, for himself not the many.

The UK's threat level has increased to “severe”. This follows a rising Islamist and Extreme Right Wing terrorist threat, and yesterday's abhorrent antisemitic terrorist attack.
People should be vigilant as they go about their daily lives, and report any concerns to the police.
Our world-leading police and security services continue to work, day and night, to keep our country safe.

@Debss2500 @TucHuddersfield How does an MP make that kind of money?
English

@TucHuddersfield Hilarious, all parties are full of millionaires.Wes Streeting alone has made about £5m since being in office, I'm sure The Green Party are no different!
English

@PaulGurr1 @KemiBadenoch That is my formal title in fact.
English

More questions for @KemiBadenoch today as it is revealed a senior Tory MP is undertaking legal work in the interests of two sanctioned Russian oligarchs, just like her Shadow Attorney General and Roman Abramovich.
What is the Tory position?

@antoniabance That's how democracy works. Let people vote how they want, if you aren't good enough, that's on you.
English

My friend Alex has it absolutely right: in Coseley, a vote for anyone other than Labour opens the door to Reform chaos
Alex Ballinger MP@AlexBallingerMP
Latest polls (YouGov 27 March - 27 April) show that in Dudley, it's between Labour and Reform in the local elections. To prevent a Reform council fuelled by chaos, instability and division, vote Labour on 7 May. A vote for the Greens or the Lib Dems will only help Reform.
English

@ceritheviking Much better to have some paedo friends that the PM wants to reward for 'something'. Hundreds of years of experience and knowledge gone to be replaced by friends of the paedo party. How very modern.
English

@alysdenby @CityAM Tactical voting gets you somebody you didn't want instead of somebody else you didn't want. Vote and campaign for something you do want.
English

I’m about to do something against which all my instincts all my instincts recoil - something so shameful I can’t believe I’m admitting it in a newspaper.
I’m going to vote Labour.
Find out why in today’s @CityAM

English

@ADZanderWest @danielmgmoylan You prefer the Mandelson and the Doyle’s. The friends of paedos are your preference?
English

@danielmgmoylan Whats sad about it? The fact that he has been overseeing our laws for 38 years by birthright, having done nothing to earn his place? Or that taxpayers were paying for his inherited job, that he did nothing to earn for the past 38 years? Forgive us as we fail to weep for him.
English

@AngelaEuropean @Imogenlemon02 @Lanemichelle67E well the polls seem to suggest otherwise, its Good that you care though.
English

@PumpkinOne97847 @Imogenlemon02 @Lanemichelle67E No.
I just felt like commenting on her pathetic stance.
She's doing herself no favours.
English

@Imogenlemon02 @Lanemichelle67E She's been like that for ages.
Like a 6th form bully, trying to rally troops to get behind her.
She has no substance, no integrity, no leadership, no class.
English

@Imogenlemon02 Thanks for that, was there much of a queue to be a Labour shill?
