@Kdodgers24 @StarportStrdust This may seem like an obvious question for some, but is there some unique identifier on trains to know which one is which? E.g. my 1st ride has no audio, so I specifically don't want that same train.

@BenFlorida12 @AliciaStella Exactly. Conservatives (most) have long been able to separate the two. We watch (and enjoy) the movies, not the Oscars or TMZ.

@Pungbot2000 @AliciaStella Don't forget that we just watch Hollywood movies in general. I can appreciate the work of Rob Reiner even though I thought he was a political idiot. Nothing more ironic when the left says they are the side of acceptance.

@RealDianeYap Interesting thing: the Japanese lunch only looks to have 1 of the top 9 allergens (soy). The American lunch likely has at least 3 (soy, wheat, dairy, maybe egg), if not more.

Wrong conclusion. Why does the American school lunch look like this? Because fatass American kids are fed pizza, fries, mac and cheese and nuggies by their fatass American parents so if the school tries to serve them salmon, it'll end up straight in the trash can.
Paul Saladino, MD@paulsaladinomd

Average American school lunch vs average Japanese school lunch. Childhood obesity in US (2-19 yo): 21% Childhood obesity in Japan (2-19 yo): 4% Ozempic for kids coming soon in the US because we feed them poison. Questions?

"If these allegations are true…this is one of the most brazen abuses of tax payer money in recent memory." A grand jury in Miami has returned an indictment charging Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick with stealing federal disaster money, laundering the proceeds, and using the money to support her congressional campaign.

NEW: United Airlines releases new "Relax Row" where passengers can make a bed out of three chairs. The new feature will reportedly be available on 200 of their 787s and 777s. "You'll also get a mattress pad, blanket, and two pillows," United Airlines announced. "If you’re traveling with kids, a plushie too! United Relax Row will be available starting next year on more than 200 of our 787s and 777s, each with up to 12 of these brand-new rows."

@JarvyMoe @Crime_Penguin They have machines that everything in your pockets pass thru. Those are the xray machines. There's really no limit to what people can bring (liquids, etc), so they have to weed out things like alcohol and the like (my Celsius drinks often trip bc they look like hard seltzer cans)

@Pungbot2000 @Crime_Penguin I do not see anything being sent thru an x-ray scanner. I do not see people walk through body scanners. I do not see items being wiped and tested. They peek in bags, wave a wand, and send you on your way. It's not the same as TSA.

We could just privatize all of this and never deal with it again. The security at Universal and Disney parks can process tens of thousands of people per day pretty seamlessly. Neither has had a major security incident post 9/11.

@PstafarianPrice @Crime_Penguin Heh, I'd like to believe that, but they don't. I have an insulin pump. I go to universal nearly every weekend. Every time it sets off the metal detectors. At best they do a half hearted wand-down. At laziest, they just wave me thru once they see it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

@Crime_Penguin Disney/Universal security works because their staff seriously give a shit, I would not try to sneak a firearm past them. Nearly all other private security is trivially easy to bypass.

@Crime_Penguin They also are not dealing with luggage large bags and other things. Big different between people screening for a roller coaster vs people flying with the lives of 300 people or so at hand.

@StatisticUrban I had a peripheral understanding of this in Colorado. Some restaurants even offered it. Basically, it's not nationwide because it doesn't keep well at room temp. So only used where there's high demand. At least that's what I was told 🤷🏼‍♂️

In the Pacific Northwest and Utah, there's a popular condiment called "fry sauce" that seemingly none of the rest of the country likes. It's apparently made from a base of mayonnaise and ketchup, and various seasonings like pepper and garlic powder are added.

@DuelingParkNews I'm surprised they haven't mentioned an "after 4pm" pass. Crowds are much lower in the evening and would draw in the dinner crowd to help fill restaurants. Tbh, even if I had an Epic AP w/o restrictions, I would likely still mostly go after 4pm.

My biggest pet peeve is that Mario DK & Zelda are getting grouped as a singular “Nintendo IP” at Universal rather than being treated as the separate franchises that they are. Why does Harry Potter get 3 lands, but Mario (a much larger IP) have to share its space with 2 others?

@BrerOswald My understanding is that Nintendo is very protective of their IP, so things will move slower for that reason. Also, don't think anything has happened stateside that hasn't happened in Japan first.
