Pakistan has already started building a narrative that India has stopped Pak share of water because of which our farmers are dying, agriculture is getting destroyed.India should start counter narrative building too Some of the points we need to focus on Avoid triumphalist messaging such as "we have stopped Pakistan's water."Indian media should stop shouting "we stopped Pak water" Such statements can be used by Pakistan to argue that India is weaponizing water. A more defensible position is that India is maximizing utilization of water available to it under its rights. Build a fact-based record linking security concerns and bilateral relations. Governments respond better to documented evidence than slogans. Prepare detailed dossiers and timelines. Evidence of terrorist attacks, investigations, arrests, financing networks, and militant infrastructure is more persuasive internationally than broad accusations. Points that need caution "Water and terrorism cannot be separated." This works politically for a domestic audience. Internationally, many countries may still insist that water access and humanitarian issues should remain separate from security disputes. India would need to frame the argument carefully. If India wanted to counter a future Pakistani narrative, some of the strongest arguments would be: India is not blocking water unlawfully. India is using water within its sovereign rights and applicable treaty provisions. No deliberate starvation policy exists. Water-management projects are primarily for storage, flood control, irrigation, and power generation. Pakistan's water problems are not solely caused by India. Poor water management. Canal losses. Groundwater depletion. Population growth. Climate variability. Inefficient agricultural practices. Terrorism has imposed costs on India for decades. Present documented evidence of attacks and the groups involved. Focus on evidence rather than rhetoric. India has consistently remained a responsible regional actor. Continued humanitarian assistance in various crises. Disaster relief operations. Development partnerships with neighboring countries. India should emphasize that war is not caused by India's lawful water utilization. The most important diplomatic preparation If a crisis ever occurs, the countries whose opinions matter most are not social-media audiences but major capitals: United States France United Kingdom Russia Japan Saudi Arabia United Arab Emirates Key institutions such as United Nations The most effective approach is usually: Demonstrate legal compliance. Publish data transparently. Document security concerns rigorously. Avoid statements that can be interpreted as collective punishment of civilians. One more thing: even if Pakistan is able to portray itself as a victim on the water issue, that does not automatically mean the world would support a war launched by Pakistan. Most major powers generally oppose initiating a conventional war between two nuclear-armed states regardless of the grievances being claimed. The side seen as escalating militarily first often faces significant diplomatic scrutiny. Look at this Pakistani nuisance🤣🤣🤣 They are giving Honorary degree to Iranian President in cardiac surgery Their own patients used to come to India for cardiac treatment till April 2025 4 years back I met a family from Karachi in Apollo hospital Delhi who had come for cardiac surgery of their son. They told me healthcare is pathetic in Pak. Doctors don't know how to do diagnosis, medicines are expensive, hospitals don't have equipment Apne khud ke doctors diagnosis nahi kar paate doosro ko fake degrees de rahe hai 🤣🤣🤣

Pakistan new narrative: 'We showed restraint by not using nuclear missiles.' Translation: We wanted to use them but didn’t have the capability or courage. The world saw the truth in May 2025 — Pakistan’s nuclear bluff was called, and it folded quickly.Developing more 'conventional' rockets won’t change the fact that your military doctrine is based on terrorism and nuclear blackmail, not professional warfare. Keep coping."

“It was due to Pakistan's restraint and responsibility that its Babar cruise missiles or the longer-range Shaheen Missiles, designated to deliver nuclear weapons, were not used in the 2025 crisis to avoid unintended escalation. This is also the reason for Pakistan now developing its conventional rocket force as distinct from its strategic missiles.” An excellent piece by Amb. Zamir Akram: tribune.com.pk/story/2614761/…

Pakistan’s current aggressive posturing ("blood and water cannot flow together", IVC narrative, etc.) is maximum bark, minimum bite. They are trying to internationalize the issue, approach the World Bank, and create emotional pressure — because they know direct military action will be suicidal for them India is not Afghanistan A bomb for a bullet will be Indian response

Funny how Pakistan suddenly cares about 'arms race' and 'stability'.The same country that: Runs the world's largest terror infrastructure Begs China for every advanced weapon Threatens nuclear war every few months Now lectures India for selling BrahMos to UAE?Bhai, pehle apne ghar mein terrorism band karo. Then talk about 'strategic uncertainty'." #Brahmos #PakistanTerror

India's reported BrahMos missile deal with the UAE comes at a sensitive moment for regional security. As the Gulf seeks to stabilize after recent US-Iran tensions and conflict, the transfer of advanced strike capabilities risks fuelling arms competition, increasing threat perceptions, and complicating ongoing de-escalation efforts. In South Asia, India's continued pursuit and export of such technologies contributes to military asymmetries that can undermine deterrence stability. Rather than reinforcing cooperative security, these developments risk deepening a conflict-prone regional environment marked by mistrust, miscalculation, and strategic uncertainty. 🔗: dawn.com/news/2009997 #India #BrahMos #UAE #USIranTensions #SouthAsia

Pak journalist Najam Sethi admits Pakis get low end jobs like labourers, toilet cleaners in West🤣🤣🤣 and Indians get high end jobs like CEOs because Indians are highly educated/skilled . Even I have observed in Dubai, US, Saudi Arabia etc Pakis do low end jobs of begging, toilet cleaning, construction labourers🤣🤣🤣 whereas Indians do high end jobs like senior managers, CEOs This is the difference between education level of two countries

WHAT INDIA IS ACTUALLY DOING AFTER SUSPENDING INDUS WATER TREATY — AND WHY IT IS MORE POWERFUL THAN A MISSILE India has not turned off the tap. What India has done is stop sharing data. The 1960 treaty required India to share advance notice of dam releases, flow measurements, and flood warnings. That stopped the moment the treaty was suspended. Pakistan has written to India three times, twice in 2025 and once in May 2026 about "abnormal and abrupt flow variations" on the Chenab River. Imagine farming without knowing what is coming downstream tomorrow. Sudden surges flood fields during planting season. Unexpected drops dry up crops during irrigation windows. No warning. No coordination. Just chaos. That is the weapon. Not a blockade. Uncertainty. And for a country where 90% of agriculture depends on precisely coordinated irrigation timing, uncertainty is almost as damaging as a complete cutoff. Nine in ten Pakistanis live within the Indus Basin. All 21 hydroelectric plants are inside it. Agriculture is 23% of GDP and employs 37% of the workforce. India does not need a single missile or a single new dam. It just needs to stay silent. And it is.
