Why should a country give up its independent monetary policy, tailored to its own needs, and adopt a broader Eurozone policy that may suit or harm its economy?

Oddly similar to $AMZN earnings reaction. $AS which beat on all metrics is leaning into spend to fuel accelerating demand and long term growth, compressing margins short term and the market punishes it.

$MELI with an outstanding quarter. Stock was initially up 10%, but is now down 6% in after-hours markets.
- Revenue up 45 YoY
- TPV up 42% YoY
- GMV up 36.8% YoY
- Ad revenue up 67%
Margins took a hit due to the investments in free shipping, credit cards, and 1P products.
