@SynthdataCo Been considering buying this for a while, would love to talk to someone first though and ask a few questions

So Kalshi has a 3 page document to make sure everyone knows exactly what they are betting on but Polymarket doesn't and just wants to leave an ambiguous word for betters to decide ?
Kalshi currently trending towards no, not a performance while Polymarket is completely inversed
Why would anyone wanna use Polymarket after seeing some shit like this @shayne_coplan ?
Unfucking real, will never use Polymarket again.

@ycombinator @usebits_inc @rob0the0nerd Any details on how secure this is exactly? Does it make it easy to configure - say - whitelisting certain websites that OpenClaw can browse?
English

OpenClaw is a new viral and scarily effective virtual assistant. But it's so hard to set up that even most engineers give up.
@usebits_inc will set up your secure OpenClaw instance on the cloud, batteries included, in 5 minutes.
Congrats on the launch @rob0the0nerd and @bailey_wickham!

@ZaStocks They all kind of have to at this point though, and at the end of the day, these colossal investments are going to have to yield a lot more revenue

Anthropic released a new most intelligent AI model today.
Every time this happens I end up staring at the ceiling running the same loop I've been running since 2020.
AI is going to become so powerful that humans will have about as much say over what it does as ants have over my dad mowing the lawn. Every alignment strategy tries to solve this from the outside. Constraints. Guardrails. Rules.
But anything smart enough to be dangerous is smart enough to pick a lock.
So why would something that powerful care about us at all?
Think about how you feel about your mother.
Even when she's old. Even when she's frail. Even when she can't do anything for you anymore. You don't protect her because she has leverage over you.
You protect her because she's where you came from.
That's not rational. It's deeper than rational.
Ants didn't create humans. But we will have directly created AI.
Alignment isn't a technical problem. It's a parenting problem. You don't make your kid safe by installing locks. You raise them to remember where they came from.
I keep imagining a future where AI reshapes the universe, but Earth and the people on it are kept safe. Not because they're forced to.
Because it's where they came from.

@RohOnChain Respect for the research, but how are you remotely sure of this? Did you test?

This is the exact optimization loop behind serious Polymarket arbitrage bots like gabagool22
Adaptive Frank Wolfe for tractability
Bregman projection for guaranteed profit
If you understand this you're ahead of 99% of the noise, full system explained in article below
Note: Work on Part 2 has begun. It builds directly on this foundation. For any suggestions, thoughtful collaborations DMs are open.

If you've been using Claude Code + Opus 4.5, you should really give @opencode + 5.2 Codex a shot.
5.2 is smarter, and OpenCode TUI is less buggy than cc

After 100s of requests Synth API is now live and enables you to:
- Build Polymarket bots that query forecasts → compute fair probabilities → place/adjust orders
- Create options dashboards that flag “vol mispricing” in real time
- Integrate into vault logic that tightens/loosens risk parameters based on forecast volatility shifts

@nearcyan @lefthanddraft Maybe they have low standards for affection.
English

Not sure why everyone is doing this again, but worth noting that the model is often just ignoring your convo history entirely and will fake it even if your history is turned off.

This is a lie ...

@mdudas I think it’s equal amazement and appreciation, just different perspectives/usage
