@QuestionAbyss If twitter has taught me anything…. It is to not get defensive over words or someone else's opinions. I think that is personal growth.

Is ego the mental "bloatware" that slows down or even halts our personal growth by making us defensive?

@QuestionAbyss In a way yes. It's a constant battle to maintain anything like success in the eyes of the world. If your success is a personal achievement or contentment, it is more ‘real’.

Can success, especially long runs of it, be a hallucination?

@Calypso35827337 I want to reward people for reaching out of the basal, communal comfort zone. My questions are about real things, and most humans are horrified by anything real---humans demand illusions. So, I reward with medals to show I appreciate the courage.

@QuestionAbyss I thought it might be that. What are your thoughts on awards, receiving and giving. To me the medal on here means I’m on the right track, I’m learning something. Face to face chats one can read the body language to know if the answer has any merit, or not.

@QuestionAbyss I’d say that what you learn over time from failure is how to be more successful in future endeavors. So success can teach you what works for that outcome, but it doesn’t show you why it was successful, or how to replicate the results. Failing does.

Morning check in: Certain other folk and I are of the opinion that our "life is only about profit" culture have pushed us away from an important factor in growth---failure. If you feel like you've failed in life, don't feel that way. You're an adventurer.

How high do you estimate your "Chaos IQ" to be?
