The ironically named Religious Liberties Commission tried to remove @CarriePrejean1 back in August.
She was clearly ousted for her religious views.
Bp Barron said it was her “behaviour” at the Commission in February. He knows this to be untrue because Carrie phoned him 6 months prior when she was asked to resign!
Instead of supporting his sister in Christ against attacks from those outside of the Church, he joined the attacks, saying she was “paint[ing] herself as a victim,” and that she was “browbeating witnesses.” He claimed she was “aggressively asserting her point of view,” and “hijacking the meeting.” This is partly ad hominem and wholly unnecessary. This should have been a private conversation between the two of them. His Grace’s public statement is beneath him and the office he holds.
Bp Barron should be reaching out to Carrie in his pastoral capacity to guide her if he think she’s too aggressive, help her if she believes she is being victimised, and support her in getting her important message across in a better/more constructive way if he believes her to be hijacking the meetings he did not bother to attend.
Carrie is the only person promoting the Catholic teaching on this issue in the Commission meetings. Bp Baron and his contemporaries unfortunately skipped these sessions. He has made no attempt to teach or pass on the Catholic faith in any way. He has played it safe, securing his position on the President’s Commission, not rocking the boat. What good is it having Catholic bishops on the Commission if they refuse to share the Catholic faith?!
What is the point of shepherds who refuse to shepherd the flock?! Even worse, what do you call a shepherd who attacks the sheep instead of pastoring them?!

Many girls have reportedly been r@p£d and m0l£sted by men in Ozoro during what is being described as a “r@p!ng festival” in the area.
According to multiple reports and videos circulating online, today is said to be the day of this festival in the Ozoro community, and girls are wvrned not to go outside. It is alleged that any girl seen outside could be att@ck£d and r@p£d by groups of men.
Foreigners who are unaware of this situation have reportedly fallen v!ctim as well. There is Delta state university in Ozoro, and many female students may not be fully aware of the d@nger. It is distvrbing that something like this could be tolerated in society. This is heartbreaking, and urgent action needs to be taken.
