Sac Town Sports had a debate if Sacramento can fill up a new MLB stadium for 81 games? My personal opinion is that I believe they can if these parameters are met. 1. It’s not the A’s (there rep is too tarnished to be saved in Nor Cal) 2. If it’s in the AL (would help win over giants fans in Sac as they could have a fav AL team) 3. If the new owner is a winning owner and the team is good. Sac is sick of loser owners. Important to note: Sacramento is NOT Giants territory. Giants themselves can’t stop MLB to Sac like they did to San Jose. but could vote no on Sac’s bid. However, there is a good reason to them to vote yes if it means they have the bay to themselves for good. Stay tuned for the bigger details.

Seeing this table of what the lottery odds would be in the "3-2-1" format just about killed me. Imagine going through a 20 win season & then picking 12th. You want teams to not tank? BIG fines, take their picks/ lower their odds. This feels like an extreme overcorrection.

Just got off the phone with a friend who’s on a college tour with his daughter. One of the stops: The University of California, Santa Barbara. I will just say this: When I was a student at Santa Clara University, we used to sometimes drive down there. In all my travels since - including Vegas/Thailand/Greece - I have never witnessed anything like what I saw at UCSB. It’s been a while, but I’d never seen that level of partying before, or since. Those Isla Vista kids are just next level.
