Weather warning ⛈️☔️💨⚠️ A weather warning for heavy rain and gale force winds is in force from tonight until Thursday evening. Accumulation's of 80-120mm of rain and gusts of wind of up to 57 mph are possible. This is in association with Storm Leonardo.

Severe winds and heavy rain are expected in Gibraltar from Tue 27–Thu 29 Jan, with gusts up to 70 mph causing possible travel disruption. Keep travel to a minimum, secure belongings, and take extra care when crossing the runway. Stay safe.

Home at last, the final crew from Culdrose #814NAS Swordfish Flight returned on Friday afternoon from #OperationHighmast #CSG25 after a lengthy trip across Europe. The aircrew and engineers had embarked for several months with @RFATidespring which docked last week in Gibraltar.

A 99Sqn C17 (nicknamed the moose by crews, due to the sound the pressure relief vents make during ground refuelling) conducted a number of training approaches, providing mutual training benefit to the aircrew and ATC. Our team was out to capture the mighty moose from every angle!

On the 9 April 2025 a small Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) will be operating in the vicinity of @RAF_Gib in support of an essential task. The UAS is operating under permit of the Gibraltar Director of Civil Aviation and with permission of RAF Gibraltar.

With the recent retirement of the Puma in RAF service, we look back to 2006 when 33 Sqn, based at RAF Benson, visited the Rock for training with the Royal Gibraltar Regiment. The Pumas then departed the rock, heading on to Exercise in Northern Africa. Adios to the Mighty Puma.
