First, there is no need for race-based representation in Congress or government.
'Black people,' do not require 'black,' representation through a black elected official. That has not been remotely relevant for 60 years.
Second, no one is stopping black voters from voting for a black candidate. Pretending white voters won't vote for a candidate because they are black is racist nonsense.
Third, when given the opportunity to choose between a white Democrat and a black Republican, black Democratic voters do not prioritize racial representation. The entire argument is nonsensical political theater.

@hulsey_ryan @ArtCandee I wasn’t sure about that. If they’re fair then they’re already compliant with SCOTUS recent ruling and to your point there’s no need to redraw them. I’m sure the DOJ civil rights division will be reviewing them all to be sure.

Correct. They are run by states within the boundaries of federal laws. Voting Rights Act ring a bell? States are not allowed to gerrymander based on race. And when the SAVE act passes voters will have to provide proof of citizenship and life, to vote. In every state. This was settled because of the civil war. States are not sovereign nations.

Our Constitution says nothing; we needed a nationwide movement for a new constitution. Our manner of installing judges is out of step with all other democracies. American legal academia doesn’t even grasp how terrible our system itself is.

The Democratic position has long been that neither side should gerrymander. It disrespects the opposition’s voters and allows lawmakers to insulate themselves from accountability.
But if Republicans insist on it, Democrats have no choice but to do the same.
The vain hope of many good-government liberals had been that charting a path toward mutual de-escalation just might entice Republicans to join them. But with Republicans openly threatening to maximize their own gerrymanders after the court ruling, such hopes of mutual forbearance are now plainly dead.
The Supreme Court decision on gerrymandering points in one direction only: Come 2028, Democrats have to declare a take-no-prisoners redistricting war on the GOP.

WHAT part does everyone not understand?
Covid was a gain of function lab created bioweapon with spike protein being a major aspect of the mechanism of harm but by no means all of it.
Covid shots are also a bioweapon. It literally is synthetic Messenger RNA (ribonucleic acid) that goes into your cells and provides instructions to make you a spike protein producing factory. It does not just go away, the shots have DNA contamination, and the pseudouridine insertions lead to frameshifting and aberrant protein production with their own problems.
