Accountability post I'm back to 200 lbs I know why 👇 ▪︎ Less steps - I finished June with 504k steps, July I only did 341k, with one extra day. 🦵 ▪︎ Bad diet - I'm finding it hard to have healthy options during my work shift. I've taken the easy way the past few weeks. I'm keeping 2 meals very clean daily, but 1 is horrible. I've also fallen in love with chocolate covered raisins, so 🤷‍♂️😅 ▪︎ Creatine - To be honest, this is probably the biggest factor. I'm taking ~13g daily now and retaining water big time. 💪 What will I change? 👇 ▪︎ Starting today, I'm getting back to walking during my standby time at work. It had been incredibly hot, so I took that excuse to not, no more excuses. I need new running shoes, I just haven't had the opportunity to go and try pairs. I'm going to make it a point to do it this week so I can get back to running. My feet are nearly through the soles of the sneakers. 😅 ▪︎ Rather than grabbing lots of snacks to have in the car during the day, I'm going to invest in a good cooler and find some healthy meals I can prepare and eat without needing to reheat. Considering my car is my office, it's hard for me to bring leftover chicken and rice to have for lunch. No more chocolate covered raisins or pizza on the go. 🥲😤 Weight loss isn't a linear process, and the choices we make impact our progress. I don't make knee jerk reactions to my weight fluctuations anymore because historically, when I spike in weight, that's my body preparing to shed a chunk of fat, I'll drop ~120% of what I gain within a week usually. Starting simple is all about finding low hanging fruit like this example I've shared. Don't freak out, identify it, plan the work, work the plan. Keeping going is hard sometimes! I'm human, too. Getting motivated is all about finding the spark in you to go after the former two. Thank you for reading. 🫡
