Transmedicalism sounds like a war crime Transsexual and transvestite are interchangeable to much of society especially my age and older I know what all of you want, protect/expand access to HRT & surgery, I want that too! This messaging isn’t going to get us there

@CommieDG @aeonsavi @queerlara Yeah I just cannot abide the kf stuff. Docxing, threatening people is beyond a line no matter who is doing it.
And I’m in my mid 40s, all these struggle sessions and infighting is tiresome. Much prefer open, honest, respectful dialogue.

But I can’t have that discussion with Brianna because she blocked me for the mildest of reasons.
But like I said, always open to talking in good faith even with those who have different viewpoints.

She's 100% correct.
Every civil rights movement has had to grapple with tough, uncomfortable discussions.
Things like transmedicalism and assimilationism shouldn't just be written off immediately.
It's fair to have at least an open and honest discussion about it.

Civil rights movements need to be able to have discussions. Black people have discussions all the time about integrating versus having their own culture. Feminism has discussions asking if the movement is 2014 has made women stronger. If we can’t have a discussion about Tran medicalism versus trans expansionism that indicates deep sickness.

I do believe in transsexual separatism.
We need to separate ourselves from the people who have appropriated our experience, our culture, and our history.
And have turned around and bullied us, gaslit us, and shamed us into silence.
We need to take it all back, claim it as rightfully ours.
That should be our path forward.

@HannahOfTheWest I mean, SRS is no longer part of the “price of admission” in that I can change legal sex without it. It’s not anyone’s business what’s in my pants, so I don’t see the need to do anything in particular to “build trust” with cis people that’s different than if I had had SRS.

So I have a question for non-op transsexuals, especially those who are otherwise able to pass - is there some other way you intend to build trust with cïs people?
SRS has long been the price of admission if you wanted to live fully as female. What alternative do you propose?

@HannahOfTheWest I mean I’m just out ere living my life with kindness and being as ethical as I can. Also the only people who ever see me naked are any romantic partners I may have.
I don’t hide who I am and it’s working out just fine in public, work, etc…
