Even if your dysphoria was more mild or your treatment was more preventative I do believe the feeling was there.

The narrative from some parts of the trans community that you can be trans without experiencing dysphoria pisses me off more than anything else. It's so fucking dismissive of not only my experience but the experiences of so many transsexuals who have had to suffer with the crippling mental anguish of sex dysphoria. To think that people just freely opt into being trans for funsies is a fucking insult. ACTUALLY, being trans is a horrible experience and a medical condition that requires intensive treatment to be able to live with it. I don't give a shit if this upsets those who think being trans was cool and did it for funsies like some fucking social trend to get attention. Stop dismissing the experiences of transsexuals!
