If these people could be normal, we could have a conversation about the actual criticisms of the Retrilogy I do have complaints with how some of the scenes are handled. There is a discussion to be had, but I’m not having it with bad faith actors just looking to smear the project

@sisyphusmyths @korokfae Are they though? Every time you run into the Turks with the exception of maybe 2 instances is by chance. I’d hardly call it “hounding you from one end of the map to the other” or “thwarting your plans at every turn” but maybe I’m just not into hyperboles🤷🏾♂️. They stop you 5 times

@sisyphusmyths @korokfae I mean do they have to? Tifa won’t, Barret probably would, but ultimately they’ve got bigger fish to fry than the Turks at the moment. Not that I would be upset if they but ultimately it’s small potatoes to me

I think the most important takeaway from this is Hamaguchi said regardless of how he personally feels about abc scenes, it's not about his feelings. It's about staying true to the story. A segment of this fandom has convinced themselves he's gonna change up the whole game because he tried to save Aerith when he was 9 lmao and he's like noooo I'm not creating this game based on what I personally want, it's about the story.

@Genki_JPN You can reference the OG for clout all you want. This remake series has been complete garbage and it ruined the legacy of FF7. Glad its ending and FF7 can rest in peace. OG fans can start to heal and maybe return to the OG with the remake completely wiped from our memories.

Naoki Hamaguchi says the FF7 Revelation logo colors are a reference to the original logo as fans have pointed out!
He says the blue and green lights around the logo are inspired by the World of FF7 such as Materia and Holy. He says the lights do not represent any particular characters, such as Cloud or Aerith as the interviewer specifically mentioned.

I don’t want Aerith to die because I ship CT. CT kissed while Aerith was alive. Her death was emotionally impactful. As a kid, it was the first time during a video game that I cried. It’s not that I want her to die, but her death is so important and meaningful to the story.
